Part 26
They reach the hotel at night. The booked two rooms but they overhear a couple with 2 kids ( a 5 year old girl and an infant baby boy) requesting a room. The hotel was booked and they could not accommodate the family...Kalpi was feeling bad and felt like giving up her room; Raghav understanding her thoughts.
R: Kalpi..I mean Kalpana...If you don't mind we can share one room and give the other to them...Don't worry I will sleep on the sofa...Only if you are comfortable with giving them the room.
K: OMG, thank you...I wanted to ask you the same thing but didn't know if you would agree...I mean you are so rich and all...
R: But that doesn't give me the right to be a heartless jerk right...Why don't you tell them the happy news...I'm not that good with the kids..
Kalpi tells the family to relax as they can spare their room for the family. The girl comes and hugs Kalpi and Raghav...Kalpi takes hold of the little baby and kisses his cheeks.
R POV: I wish I was that baby right now...her beautiful juicy lips on his cheek...not fair or go hug her from behind when she is cradling our son...Wait ...what!
The ROOM
Kalpi was shocked to see the size of the room and compared it to her whole house.
K POV: what wastage of space...well at least the sofa is roomy enough for me.
K: Sir...I mean My lord (smiling)...I will take the sofa since it is perfect for my size and no arguments...let's be logical.
R POV: Always logical ziddi!
R: I know how stubborn you are but I'm the gentleman, I can manage on the sofa...
K: And I'm used to sleeping on floor...so...don't argue...Chintu(smirking...knowing she got him)
R: You and Rahul are like evil twins, both use the same warning! Ugh
He cages Kalpi towards the wall to make sure she agrees to sleep on bed when the little girl comes into their room,
Girl: Oops, I didn't see anything...you are doing what papa does to mama...
Both Raghav and Kalpi are blushing profusely.
Girl: Mama sent this dress for you, she said you have to wear it tonight for some...what did she say...umm..caples...copless...couples...yes that's it party...it is our way for thank you...please wear it...I bet you will look like an angel!
Kalpi seeing the kid's bright eyes didn't have the heart to say no and agreed to wear and join for the party.
Girl then turns to Raghav when Kalpi's goes inside the bathroom to change, "You too come to the party with didi, bhaiya! Can I call you that?
Raghav too couldn't say no and promised to come.
Raghav takes off his shirt and is shirtless when Kalpi gets out of the bathroom with smokey eyes make up and red dress with a deep back cut...
R POV: She looks enticing...wait she is wearing backless. No way in hell she is going out like this...she will cause havoc...
K POV: God, his abs...why is he not wearing a shirt...he looks so tempting...I can just feel his lips on my skin...I could eat him up.
Both are staring at each other intently until they hear romantic music coming from outside...
K: Umm...could you cover up please...
R(smirking): Why...Am I too sexy for you? Getting a bit too hot in here?
K (shocked) POV: Did he just flirt with me...like...noo...I'm reading him wrong..
K: I have seen better
Raghav furious comes close to her and encages her to the dressing table, "Whatever happened to I have seen better" while running his fingers on her back. He then covers her back with her hair..."You look so ravishing, better cover your back, damsel in distress...
Kalpi who was hyperventilating by now stares at Raghav with equal fury. She gets on her toes accidently touching their chests but leans to his ear and whispers, "If it wasn't for Ma, you would know what kind of distress this damsel can cause!" She then pushes him and moves out of the room.
Party
Raghav entered with black shirt with top button undone and jeans...He was in every girl's eyesight and soon one of the girls asked him to dance. He glanced at Kalpi fuming with anger and decided to fuel her.
R POV: She would be the one saying I love you not me! I kissed her senselessly and she ignored me. I know you at least like me...now I will make you realize how much...
Raghav starts flirting and dancing with the blonde bimbo who was boring him to all ends.
R POV: Does she ever shut up? Sheesh...should have used some other plan...I'm only getting kicked and a headache with this one.
K POV: WTH, I cursed...what is wrong with me...This idiot, dumbass, ziddi, kahdoos...it is all his fault...Why is he dancing so close...few minutes ago he was touching me like...made me feel special and now with this...bimbo...I don't know her...Am I feeling jealous? Why is it bothering me...It should...he makes me feel like I'm the only one in the world and now this...ughh..playboy...womanizer..
Kalpi is having heartache with headache and decided to leave the party. She didn't see the sharp corner and hurts her wrist badly.
K: Ouch!!
Raghav hears her screech in pain and rushes towards her only to see blood.
R: Get me a first aid box. He take Kalpi's wrist and starts to move her when,
K: Let go of me, I can do it myself.
R: Shut up...careless...Now follow me or by God, I will carry you to the room.
K: You wouldn't dare.
R(already angry she got hurt) puts his hands her knees and carries her.
Kalpi is shocked but clings onto his neck with her unburied hand.
K POV: First he hurts me and then shows tremendous care...I thought people said girls look for guy resembling their fathers as husbands but my case he is resembling aii. Groom...husband...he never said he loved you...Ms. Overactive imagination.
Raghav cleans the blood from her wrist and gently bandages it. He then asks her to take painkillers.
K: Thanks...She starts to move towards the sofa.
R: No, you are injured. I will take the bed and don't argue or else...I will call mom and tell her about your wrist..
Kalpi is mad she lost but finally said yes.
Morning
Kalpi feels something heavy on her waist, she turns to look only to come face to face with Raghav's face.
K: AAA, what are you doing? In her hassle to get out of bed, she drags the blanket, herself and Raghav on the floor.
R: Is this how you wake up in the morning? So annoying...come closer...sleep and let me sleep.
K: What...I mean get up...what are you doing on MY bed?
R: This is Hotel's bed and you were right I'm not used to sleeping on sofa so when it got cold last night, I came to bed. If it makes you feel any better, I wanted to get up before you did so you wouldn't know I was on the bed. Anyways stop overreacting like you saw a cockroach.
K: How is that supposed to make me feel better? Wait, cockroach and jumps on Raghav's lap...where where...please get it out
R POV: Now this kind of good morning, I could definitely get used to!
R: just kidding...now could you let go of me...so we can get some food and work done!
Kalpi hits Raghav shoulder lightly with but gasps when she hurts her wirst.
Raghav takes a hold of her wrist, soothing it..."are you okay?" She nods her head and both untangle themselves from the blanket.
They finalize the plot and start to return back to Mumbai when on the way back, their car stops.
K: What's wrong with the car?
R: I didn't take a course in car engineering...how would I know?
K: I thought it was a guy's thing like make-up is girls...
R(smirking): SO are you suggesting you are not a girl, since you hardly put any make-up.
K(Smirking and innocently): No, I'm a believer of natural and inner beauty. Besides, I was suggesting the former...
R: You..
K: We could stand stranded in the middle of nowhere but 10 minutes ago I saw a small dhaba. So, my Lord, could you do me a favor and move towards in that direction.
R: grumpily...yes
Dhaba
Kalpi feels weird being the only girl around the bus drivers enjoying their meal and looking at her lustfully. Raghav puts his hand around Kalpi's waist tightly and silently threaten all to look away, which they do. He then introduces them as husband and wife and asks for a phone call...They had to wait a day for the car and decided their safest strategy would be to spend a night in dhaba's extra room.
Room
Kalpi is praying to God looking at sky.
K POV: What joke are you playing...you bring me in his company...he is bipolar...one second goes caveman on me and next vexing me...I bet we would make the best Bollywood movie ever...ugh
R POV: Ewww, it is so disgusting here...we should have stayed in the car...at least it was cleaner and cozier...how can I withstand staying apart from Kalpi when everything about her is calling to me...
There was no space in the room except a wooden bed...
K: I will take the floor...
R: Hmm, but he warned me about cockroaches...
K: What but...
R: You trust me right...
K nods yes...
R: then let's sleep...
Both in the middle of the night are hugging each other...
Raghav wakes up next morning only to find Kalpi on his chest.
R POV: She looks so innocent, so tempting, her lips slightly apart...I wish I could soberly remember how her mouth felt against mine. He puts his arms around her tightly kissing the top of her head and sleeps.
Kalpi wakes up with sunlight hitting her face, she realizes herself on top of Raghav and tries to move only to feel herself trapped in his arms.
K POV: He looks so innocent, sweet while sleeping, not an ounce of trouble...She takes her hand and lightly runs it over his face, memorizing every detail from the length of his brow, to his cheek bones, his manly jaw...
She then moves out of the bed and wakes him. They have breakfast when the car arrives and they leave for Mumbai.
