Part 18
A lot of commotion began outside of the room.Glancing at Panther,Kalpana turned and went out to see what was happening.She gasped.There were many criminals being handled by officers,inspectors and the constables.An inspector came up to her "Well done Kalpana..we have captured a huge amount of the underworld"
Kalpana nodded 'Wow,turns out my well wisher gave me the correct information' She went back to the room.Panther was relaxing in his chair.Seeing her,he stood up "So..what happened to the niece?"
"I don't find it necessary to tell you" he said smirking at her "I like giving surprises"
Kalpana squinted her eyes at him "I can tell..just like how you arrive in someone's house without a reason,escaping police stations"
"Oh Kalpi,I only do that for you" Panther chuckled "Plus you don't have any proof nor witness to prove it"
Kalpana glared at him "How did you escape in the first place?"
"That's for me to know and you to find out"
"Aarrghh..stop talking so mysteriously!"
"I only use it for you" he laughed.
Kalpana went up to him and held his collar "I will get you one day Panther"
"Stop calling me that" Panther ordered.
Kalpana made a face "No" she said stubbornly "Panther,Panther,Panther,Panther,Pant-"Panther grabbed her and pressed his lips on hers.Kalpana widened her eyes.She struggled to get out.After a few seconds, finally he let go of her and sighed.Kalpana fumed.She raised a hand to slap him but he held it and twisted it behind her back,pulling her close "Leave me!"
"No! What are you going to do about it" Panther said confidently.
Kalpana opened her mouth to say something but then the door opened.It was a constable.Looking at their position,he flustered "Um..d-did I c-come at a wrong time"
"Horrible" said Panther,glaring.
"Perfect" said Kalpana,finally managing to pull herself from him.Glaring at him,she turned to the constable "Is there a message for me?"
"Yes,the General wants to meet you"
Kalpana nodded "Please take Panther to his cell"
Without a backwards glance,she left..

"Dad,did you want to see me"
The General looked up and smiled at Kalpana "Yes..please sit" Kalpana took a seat.The General leaned back on his seat "Kalpi,you are one of our best officers and you are on your way on becoming a major too..you're very experienced in little time so I think I can give you the task of keeping an eye on Panther"
Kalpana widened her eyes "What..but why me?"
"Because he seems to open up to you and doesn't give you a major headache as he does with the others...this isn't the first time we caught him Kalpi..we have caught him many times before but he always managed to escape...we are counting on you to make sure none of that happens"
Kalpana hesitantly nodded.She didn't want to let him down.The General had taken very good take of her,as if she was his real daughter,when Panther had left her alone in front of his doorstep.Kalpana looked up at the General "Okay...I will make sure Panther does not escape and try and control him"
"Great" exclaimed the General.

Later at night when all the officers went home,Kalpana went to the cells to have a look at Panther,to make sure he didn't escape or any sort.No one was at the cells or anywhere in the station.There were video cameras watching the cells/criminals.It was only her and the criminals.'Where did all the security guards go?' thought Kalpana.Kalpana went to cell number 9.There was Panther.He was leaning against the bars on his back,tapping the walls "So I am your responsibility"
Kalpana looked at him,confused "Y-yeah..but how did you know?"
"I have my ways" smirked Panther as he turned around to face her "I am hungry"
"So?"
"I want food" he said in an obvious tone.
"Didn't you get dinner?" asked Kalpana.
"Nope"
Kalpana scrunched her eyes in confusion "But they were supposed to give you...um okay I'll bring food"
Raghav nodded smiling.After a while,Kalpana came back with a tray of food.She took out the keys and unlocked Panther's cell "Kalpi,spider!" exclaimed Panther.
Kalpana nearly screamed but looking around she made an annoyed face,seeing no spider "Very funny!"
Panther nodded.Kalpana entered the cell,forgetting the key at the cell lock because of the spider incident.She put the tray on the bed and stood up.She heard some clinking noises.Kalpana turned around to the sudden noise.She gasped.Panther smirked at her.Panther had locked her in the cell with him,throwing the keys away from the cell.Kalpana ran to the bars and let out a arm,in an attempt to reach the keys but knew it was impossible.It was too far.Kalpana turned around,anger evident in her eyes "Why did you do that!"
Panther shrugged.He sat down on the bed,next to the food "I was getting lonely and I just love your company...especially your lips" he smirked.
"You are so shameless" she accused "Now what am I going to do? I even left my phone in my cabin"
"Great! No disturbances" Panther stood up and made his way towards her and whispered in her ear "So what do you want to do first?"
"Just shut up" ordered Kalpana "Why don't you just leave me alone? That's all I ask"
"I find you fascinating" he explained,pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Kalpana stepped back.She knew this was going to be a long night.
