I just watched all the Raghav and Kalpana scenes and I haven't see the full episodes so if get any information wrong then I apologise beforehand.
It has always been showed that Raghav has always been drawn to Kalpana from the very start. Just watched the scene where raghav sees baby kalpana for the first time. He was drawn to her it maybe the fact he was curious to know why she was been treated different and why was she not in a cot covered by the net instead she was just lying on the couch but the point is he still choose her went to play with her, he even asked Kamla bai why this differentiation at this point it was first time he developed soft spot for Kalpana it may be sympathy but it was something that deeply touched his heart.it was like as if he unknowly connected to her.
Even with the pen drama scene he choose to give his pen to her she never wanted it but he told her to keep it she even refused to keep it at first but then he sum how he forced her to keep the men similar just like how he confessed his feelings she didn't really accept and he contiounsly forced her questioned her to express her feelings and soon enough she will confess just like the way she kept the pen.
Not just the pen he even saved her and exposed Perm when he took the money. Raghav didn't have to do this but he did he choose to help her. Just the way he chooses to motivate her his words might sound harsh but they were always said to motivate her he was the one who solved her math's equation and explained it to her. He has to some extent given her more importance to her not only in his childhood but even after the leap .In childhood he give her his Abacus that was very near to his heart his dad gave him that and he gave it to her he knew he was giving away something important but he did give it to her. Correspondingly when he was drunk and opened up to Kalpi he told her the reason behind why he doesn't trust people he apologised to her which he doesn't do. Not just this he has always tried to help kalpi he was always been concerned for he may not always be sub consciously aware but he has always helped her he gave her that job he might have given based upon the request form her mother he never refused to help her he was concerned when he got her the auto he waited outside her house just to make sure she was reached home safely.
In many scenes it was also indicated that compared to all other he saw kalpi as most similar to himself for example he had money and he lived with the Kapoor's yet he felt lonely just like kalpi had her mother but she was never there for her.
The one thing that most intrigues me that Raghav to some extent is aware that of Kalpi perception towards Paakhi on that notes he always motivates her further he doesn't her feeling worthless he makes her stronger without her realising it. When the whole pen drama happened he saw the angry kalpi who banged into him he went straight to Pakhi's room he saw that pen and he instantly realised why Kalpi was angry yet he didn't say anything to her. Maybe that was for showing what is going to happen. This incident did not just sub consciously deepen ragavs s concern and sympathy for Kalpi it also made him realise how similar he and Kalpi are.
Raghav to some extent has changed so had Kalpi but his underlying subconscious feeling were always there for kalpi he may have never showed at first but he did help when she was sat alone in the bench he stopped as soon as he saw and he will always be there to motivate.
RagNa together complete each, it was ways shown that Raghva and Kapli shared an underlying bond and they a had a silent understanding together and they will always have that they might end up together they might not but there will always be a mutual understanding within them that never be replaced.
