RagNa OS:Two Hearts

I tossed and turned in my bed but I couldn't sleep... I put both my hands under my head and looked at the ceiling sighing.. I thought of Kalpana's face.. The look on her face.. I thought,"Why was Kalpi so sad ?" As I was in deep thoughts, my phone started to buzz all of a sudden. I picked it up to see it was Sammy. I picked up the call and asked,"What happened Sammy ?" Sammy answered,"I've got some news about Kalpi.. I casually asked,"What is it Sammy ?" I casually asked him eventhough I was dying to hear about her.. Any news about her would send me into a frenzy.. Sammy started,"You wanted to know as of why Kalpi was talking to the Kapoor's house and why not to Kamla right ?" I said,"Yes..". Sammy said,"Well it was her special day today.Kamla Bai promised her that she would be with her the whole day but broke her promise because of Pakhi's accident.. " I closed my eyes at that ,"Seriously.. This girl is a nuisance.. She doesen't know the rules of the road. She doesen't understand that Kalpi also needs Kamla's love.." I asked, Why what's so special today ?" Sammy replied,"Raghav.. Its Kalpi's birthday today." My eyes widened.Kalpi's birthday?? Its Kalpi's birthday today. MY Kalpi's birthday today.. Ok... I called her my Kalpi..." On the other side, Sammy was still speaking but I didn't care.. It was Kalpi's birthday today and I didn't even wish her... I put my head in my hands and sighed.. Today is Kalpi's birthday and I did not even wish her. But I just can't understand one thing.. From the day I came here, I see Kamla Maa and Pakhi very close.. Kalpi is ignored like a third person ? How come Kamla Maa and Pakhi are close ? I lay down on my bed with all these thoughts in my mind. I decided that I would make her belated birthday a memorable day in her life.. With all these thoughts in my mind, I drifted off to sleep.

I was disheartened.. Aayi promised that she would spend the whole day with me. But she broke it.. Why is she doing this to me ? She is spending a lot of time with Pakhi.. The day I came back from boarding school, I came with a lot of hope of spending time with you. But what I got was You had gone to see Pakhi. Why Aayi why ? Why are you doing this to me ? Tears started to fall down my eyes but I did not care. I let them fall. I went to my cupboard and opened it.. I saw two of my most priceless possessions.. The two priceless possessions that make me smile always. I took out the Abacus Set and started moving the pieces. I smiled as I rememberd the day Raghav gave me this.. It was his father's last nishaan. I took good care of it since he had given it to me with loads of trust. I took out my next priceless possession. I stared at the multi-coloured pen.. It was his gift to me on completing a maths problem.. The pen bought a smile to my face as I remembers the day he gave it to me. He even called me BEFISOOL KI ZIDDI 😆... I always considered the pen as my lucky charm... I took these two with me to bed and slept with them...

Kalpi got up in the mornig to the sun's rays.. She could hear Kanta Tai's voice calling her name.. She went out.. Kanta Tai handed over to her an envelope and went away. She opened the envelope and read,"Miss. Kalpna Jadhav.. Waiting for you at Cafee'... BEFISOOL KI ZIDD MAT KARO AUR AAO 😊" She started to smile. Only Raghav Singhania called her BEFISOOL KI ZIDDI. SHe felt a surge of excitement running through her. Raghav was here... So she got ready and went to Cafee'.. She sat at a table and waited.. A guy came and sat opposite her. Kalpi frowned at him and asked,"Excuse me.. May I know who are you ? " The guy answered back,"Why do you want to know about me ? Are you planning to propose me ?" Kalpi got angry with his reply and said,"This seat is reserved. So please find another place." The guy nodded NO. Kalpi said,"Ok. I will leave from here." She huffed and got up. She started to walk away but stopped in her tracks when she heard the guy say,"BEFISOOL KI ZIDDI HO TUM.. KISI KI BAAT NAHI MAANTI HO... PEHLE ABACUS SET KELIYE NAA, USKE BAAD PEN KELIYE NAA AUR AB SEAT KELIYE NAA." Ske turned back and looked at him. The guy looked at Kalpi. She knew that instant that he was Raghav. She went and sat opposite him. Raghav was having a smile on his face and asked,"Kyun.. Sahi kaha na meine ?" Kalpi pouted and after a few moments started smiling again.. Raghav took out a small gift out of his pocket and presented it to her,"Happy Birthday Kalpi.." Kalpi was at a loss for words... Raghav was giving her a gift. Tears started to form in her eyes and she said,"Iski kya zaroorat hai ?" Raghav said,"Nahi Kalpi.. Ye tho bas chota sa gift hain. Ise tho tumhe accept karna hi padega." Kalpi took it and Raghav asked,"Vaise, ek baat poochoon ?" Kalpi noddes YES. Raghav asked,"Kamla Bai aur Pakhi itni close kaise hain ?" Hearing this Kalpi's face turned sad. Raghav's heart twisted in pain and he apologised. Kalpi said,"No No. You have the right to know.. Soon after you left for the airport, Kapoors came and checked the house thoroughly. Whn they came to know that you managed to fly off to America, Neetu Kapoor threw money at Aayi and fired her from the job. Aayi got a fever and got hospitalized. There was no money to pay the bills so I..." Raghav urged her to continue. Kalpi continued,"So I started working in Kapoor's house to pay Aayi's hspital bills." Raghav's eyes widened in anger and he clenched his fists.. Kalpi continued,"Aayi came to know about this so she put me in a boarding achool. I was all alone there.. She rarely came to see me pointing out that Pakhi needed her.. I want to be close to Aayi.. I want to spend time with her but that seems impossible.. " Tears started flowing down her eyes. Raghav's eyes softened at her tears. He could not see her in tears. So he walked towards her chair and pulled her into a hug.. He thought,"I would never leave you Kalpi.. I will always stay BY YOUR SIDE forever and forever... This is my promise.." This is how the TWO HEARTS started their journey of love..
