ELAS Update: April 26, 2007

Update: April 26, 2007
Sorry guys, I was unable to update yesterday! But here is the update for tonight's episode. 😃

***If you guys like Sonam and Nikhil confrontations, you will like this episode. You will also adore this episode, because it mainly focused on Aryan! There were lots of closeups! Also, he was wearing an awesome red shirt!***

• Aryan is at the Police office, and the Police officer tells Aryan that the reason of Sonam's behavior is that someone tried to kill Sonam. Aryan recalls all the instances that Sonam had when she saw Nikhil.
• Next, Aryan meets with Priya and tells her what the officer said. Priya goes on about how Sonam's life is locked in a box, and all they have to do is find a key. She says that finding that key is in process. They'll have to find out everything soon, or the impact of this could effect Sonam in a dangerous way. (Priya just annoyed me today. Her lectures make me want to pull off her earrings!)
  
• Aryan's phone rings, it Sonam, who is freaking out again, about someone trying to kill her. "Woh mujay maar daale gha, mujay baachow..." (I think they need to come up with more original dialogue...)
  
• Aryan and Priya run to Aryan's house, where it is a mess all over the floor. Aryan calls for his name. Priya runs to a room, and calls for Aryan. They see Sonam huddled up in the floor, crying. Aryan goes near her but she doesn't let him. He reassures her that he is Aryan, and she starts to cry and hugs him.
• Next, Anu and Nikhil and the family are celebrating Anushka's first birthday. It is a huge birthday party, and they are all singing Happy Birthday. After the song, Meera asks Anu why she didn't invite Aryan and Sonam. Anu tells her that she didn't invite her due to the fact that Sonam's behavior is affected everytime she sees Nikhil., and she didn't want any drama going on. Nikhil is listening to all of this.
  
• Sonam resting in bed, and Aryan and Priya confront her, asking her what had happened. Sonam recalls that she was getting some juice, and then she was watching TV. After that the doorbell rang. Aryan pushes her to try to remember more, but Sonam can't seem to remember, and she freaks out, asking him as to why he keeps asking her the same question. She breaks down.
• Next, Priya blindfolds Sonam and tells her to relax. She tells Sonam to think about something she fears, telling her that she is scared of lizards. Priya tells Sonam to think of an animal, a place, or a person whom she's scared of. After that they had her a blank tablet, and tell her to draw what she fears.
• They show scenes where Nikhil is enjoying Anushka's birthday and playing with her, and then they switch to Sonam drawing blindfolded. They continue switching the scenes a few times, and then focus back to Sonam. Aryan and Priya are surprised to see the results when she's done. The drawing ends up to be a sketch of Nikhil. Priya takes off Sonam's blindfold and asks her to look at the drawing. Instantly, Sonam starts to freak out again, saying that Nikhli is a murderer, and she needs to be saved. She breaks down.
• Priya tells Aryan that Nikhil is some how connected to Sonam's life, and instead of keeping her away from Nikhil, she needs to face him again. She tells Aryan to call Anu and fix an urgent meeting with Nikhil.
• Nikhil and Anu are getting ready for the awards ceremony. Anu is choosing her clothes, when Aryan calls and tells her that they need to meet urgently. Anu tells him that today isn't possible, as her and Nikhil are going to the awards ceremony. It's important. Aryan tells her that Sonam's condition is getting worse. Anu tells him that she'll try to do the best she can to meet them. Aryan tells Priya this, and Priya says that maybe its because they are trying to avoid meeting Aryan and Sonam. Aryan doesn't believe this.
  
• Nikhil and Anu enter the awards area, where the press is interviewing them as they enter the hall. Nikhil goes ahead of Anu. Anu recieves a call from Aryan and avoids it. Aryan then thinks that perhaps Priya was right, and that they are avoiding him. Priya asks him what happened, and Aryan takes her from there.
• The awards people present Nikhil his award and he walks to the panel. Aryan, Priya, and Sonam enter the building. Nikhil goes and thanks everyone for his award and starts to make a speech. Aryan and Priya leave Sonam in the hall and go to the ceremony. Sonam hear's Nikhil's voice and goes in the ceremonial hall. As Nikhil is still talking, Sonam yells that he is lying. He's a murderer, he has blood on his hands. He'll kill everyone. Aryan tries to stop her, but Priya stops him. Everyone is shocked to hear this. Nikhil himself is embarrassed and shocked.
• End.

Comments: Interesting episode today. Kind of went slow. Basically, we got nowhere. It was the same plot as the rest of the week. Sonam freaks out, she's scared of Nikhil, he's a murderer, she confronts him. Hopefully the track will pick up next week. I found Priya annoying in this episode, as she kept going on and on about how they MUST uncover the truth, and uncover her past. I mean, come on, instead of rambling, just do it! But hopefully there will be more action next week!
