I want to stop watching this show, but there's one problem - I love it too much. EHM has been a part of my life ever since the first episode. The CVs did full justice to this show until the end of the cancer track and basically, ever since then, the quality of the script has just gone down, down, down, down, down and, yeah, DOWN. Jeevika and Maanvi, Virat and Maanvi, Viren and Jeevika - these jodis will never be seen again IF this show ends. So here I am, trying to stop that from happening.
I don't know whether the writers of this show are realizing or not that this repetitive track of "jail and revenge" may work for other shows, but not for ours. Everyone always had high expectations of this show, and yes, it is totally logical for us to still have the same, but the CVs are not even meeting half of what we expect. The TRPs did not work out for Karan's track... isn't it just common sense that they won't work our for Sambhav and Riya's track either? Why repeat something knowing it doesn't work? Seriously, if the writers of this show are repeating previous tracks because they are stuck on what to show then Kriti's helpline service is open 24x7! ASK ME. I'll help out anytime. But for now, for a show I simply love to the core, I've had enough of this.
If I didn't love EHM so much I would have honestly stopped watching it by now. Seriously, I cannot relate to any situations or scenes in the show anymore. The CVs had a good behna track in hand and they have already wasted it. Our TRP is ONE POINT THREE that is 1.3 which is 1 + 0.3 and if there was any other way of emphasizing how bad that it is then I would! This show used to be in the TOP 5 of the TRP list! WHAT HAPPENED? Come on CVs! Give us our show back, please.
Atm, I'm completely mad with the channel too because when a show begins to fall on the TRP chart there is a thing called PROMOS used to attract viewers. Okay, before you go all potatoes at me, yes I am aware that the TRPs of all shows - even the ones higher up in the ladder - have dropped evidently but still, I don't care. I would say that the TRPs are unreasonable and it's okay for them to drop down but I simply cannot because I understand why people have stopped watching this show - it doesn't have the EHM charm, it doesn't have the EHM scenes, it doesn't have the EHM dialogues! It simply seems like a different show!
This show is based on SISTERS! Jeevika and Maanvi. Have CVs forgotten they exist? Because if they have I would like to remind them for the nth time that this show is called Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri BEHNA Hai and no matter whether you are a VirIka fan or a VirMan fan, just admit it! We ALL LOVE the behnas when reasonable scenes of them are shown. That's why we started watching the show, remember? JeeMan were all the promos offered us, JeeMan are what gained the soaring TRPs, JeeMan are what kept the TRPs consistent and look what a loss of JeeMan scenes has caused... a decline in TRPs. VirMan and VirIka - the two most loved jodis which pushed the TRPs up higher and higher barely seem to exist now. We get 5 minutes worth of scenes on each jodi and no, that is not okay because the scenes are of a poor quality. What do we get to see of VirMan? Them feeding each other food. What do we get to see of VirIka? Them continuously assuring each other that everything will be okay. Just a note here - I am not bashing the jodis because I adore them both. What I do not like, however, is the quality of the script as it is simply deteriorating their scenes! Wake up CVs! It's about time.
Is anyone even interested in the progress of this show anymore or am I just the lone soul complaining because I love this show so much that I want it back? If I was Cher Lloyd I would sing Want U Back continuously to the CVs in reference to our show but I'm not so I very obviously cannot do that. What I am doing though is trying and trying the very best I can to open the CVs eyes and show them that things are not working out. We just need EHM back; the OLD EHM, the one we all undeniably loved. The one which used to unite us, not separate us into three different fan groups.
Enough said, hey? 🤔 Sorry, this was Kriti venting out an entire six months' frustration. I hope I haven't sounded like I'm bashing anyone or anything. Trust me, I meant it all as constructive criticism, purely of my opinion. I will watch EHM until its very last episode, come what may, but instead of watching it as if it were my duty, I would love to watch it with the feeling that I want to watch it. For anyone who has seen me around in the forum you will know how much I love this show. I love it so much that when I watch any other show apart from it I feel guilty and that's exactly why I haven't moved on. That's exactly why I sit here complaining to you all today.
I hope somebody understands what I am trying to say. I hope somebody still cares.
