Too much too-ing and fro-ing in the forum today, but think about what would happen in real life:
- Your brother/sister coming over and calling your husband/wife "X,Y and Z". You wouldn't take it, you'd tell your sibling to bugger off, right?
- Admittedly you've played upon the idea of divorce, but you had noble intentions. Now, when said brother/sister start pestering you about the "divorce", wouldn't you come clean with them?
- And just because brother/sister are banging on about the idea of "divorce" when you have no intention of divorcing your spouse, wouldn't you just take it with a pinch of salt considering you haven't told them about your plan which you used in bringing them together?
- Would there be a need to get upset about a proposed "divorce" when you know in your heart of hearts that the notion would never arise in your mind?
And this is why I bang on so much about logic!
If we read too much into this, that, and the other than all it'll show is the glaring plot holes all over the place. In a normal situation, Manvi and Virat wouldn't have reacted the way they had. Nia and Kushal were brilliant today, but the actual plot made barely any sense.
On the other hand, if you were on the giving end, you may want to mess with your sibling but would you really go to the extent that Viren and Jeevika did? The name calling, especially from Viren, was seriously out of character, but then again it's not like they've actually been bothering to check out the original character sketches, now have they?
The lack of a coherent plot is the bane of our lives!
(PS: this is pretty much what you'd expect from less serious plots - enjoy it if you can!)
