Part 12
Love is the greatest feeling in world. Everyone yearns to feel it..and manvi was feeling that warm and bestest feeling all over her….. She wasn't exactly sure when it happened or when it started…all she knew was, she loved him a lot. But she was not enough fortunate to get that amount of love back from him. In return for her love, all she got was only pain!!!
She entered bathroom and sat under shower letting her all tears and sorrows out. She started weeping badly… Even though the person she loves was with her under one roof… she wasn't able to express her feelings to him. She was being helpless in front of her heart. She wanted to quit right there… but next moment thinking about Dadu and his condition… she stopped herself…. She decided to avoid facing him…. And maintaining as much distance as she could… this was the best for her and Virat!!!
Next day morning…. manvi got up late purposely….as She was not sure about herself if she would again break down seeing him….she feared that his one gaze would make her weak again….so she started avoiding him…
Virat was still angry for her behavior in party. He thought of maintaining their relation just professional as she said. Days passed by… it was more than week they both avoided each other. They barely spoke with each other. virat felt restless seeing her avoiding him….so he tried many times to initiate conversation..… but manvi would leave giving him some excuse….. lastly he gave up and thought of leaving her alone till she feel comfortable talking with him again…..Karan was noticing them both… and he knew the reason behind it….
In restaurant….
Karan:- hey… did u fight with Virat??
Virat:- no… why??
Karan:- then… why r u avoiding him.…. is this because u love him???
Manvi: - what do u think….??
Karan:- I m just scared for u both… I don't want both of u getting hurt at end….
Manvi:- don't worry Karan… I have made my heart enough strong to bear every pain I get!!!... and whatever I m doing is best for us.
Karan:- I wish… u both would have met some years ago… then definitely… my stupid, idiot friend Virat would have fallen in love with u…!!!
Manvi: - some things in life are not meant to happen…. (after a pause)K… I think now we should stop being tragic leads…. I have to go home… before its 9 pm…. Bye!!!
Karan:- now this too … must be instruction from my dear friend…isn't it???... u really love him a lot!!
Manvi:- stop it Karan…. R u giving me ride till home or I should leave by myself???
Karan: - k... Wait… I will leave u….!!!! (Smiling)

Next day… all gathered together for breakfast…. Nothing changed… manvi and Virat still avoided each other, but they never missed glancing each other…. manvi sat silently eating her food… bowing her head down….
Dadu:- so… Virat… how is ur work going on??? U seem really busy these days!!
Virat:- yes Dadu… in two years… we will be on top of hotel business!!! ….
Dadu:- what have u thought about veronica and ur relation??
Manvi suddenly moved her eyes on Virat…
Virat noticed her enthusiasm for his answer…
Virat:- we haven't thought anything yet Dadu…..
Dadu:- but I have thought something for my manvi… (Smiling)
Manvi:- (surprised) what Dadu??
Dadu:- wait a minute… I have called some guests for breakfast…. U will soon get to know….
Just then Karan and Mrs. Sharma arrived…
Karan:- hey Virat…. Hi manvi!!!... Namaste everyone!!!!
And Karan sat beside Virat…
Virat:- (whispering)so much of greetings!!! … u have turned into good Indian boy Karan!!
Karan:- of course…. I have someone to impress…!!! (Watching manvi)
Virat smile faded as soon as he saw Karan indicating about manvi indirectly…..
Dadu:- thanks for coming Neha (Karan's mom… Mrs. Sharma)
Mrs. Sharma:- its k.. uncle… waise aap kya baat karna chahte the humse???
(it's k uncle… by the way… what u wanted to discuss with us??)
Dadu:- I have a proposal …. I want Karan to get married to manvi!!
Virat, manvi and Karan were so shocked with dadu's words… besides them everyone seemed happy with news….
Virat and manvi:- NO!!!!... (In union)
Karan saw them saying together and smirked….
Manvi:- I mean… Dadu… how can I get married???
Dadu:- why?? Karan is really good guy… and I know he will keep u happy whole life!!!

Mrs. Sharma:- I m more than happy uncle… I really like manvi… and if these kids get married our family's ties will get more stronger!!
Virat was numb… he didn't knew what to say.. Manvi looked at him helplessly….and even Karan was silent….
After a while… Virat broke his silence….
Virat:- Dadu… but how can she get married without her parent consent??
Dadu:- oh… ha… but don't worry I'll talk with them… just give them a call Virat…now!!!
Virat was startled.. he didn't knew what to say… just then as always… manvi came for his rescue…
Manvi:- actually Dadu… I tried them calling before… but its unreachable.. I think… they must be out somewhere….
Dadu:- k… then keep trying Virat… as soon as u contact them… let me know…
Virat:- k.. Dadu…
Karan was enjoying his friend's restlessness after listening about their alliance!!! He just got to know what he wanted…
Virat dragged Karan with him.. from dining table…
Virat:- why were u so silent???... u should have said no.. at that instant!!!!!
Karan:- why ..i should say no??... is there any problem in manvi??
Virat got angry…..
Virat:- what do u mean…. U want to marry her???!!😲
Karan:- I think it's not bad idea… as we both like each other's company… maybe… its good idea to get married to her!!!! (Smirking)😆😉
Virat:- listen karan… just back off… ok….
Karan:- why???...
Virat:- (thinking for a while) because manvi doesn't love u!!
Karan:- but she likes me… and after marriage.. I will love so much that she wont be able to stop herself falling for me!! …
Virat:- how can u be so sure???
Karan:- I m sure… now… please stop interrogating like her dad… it's her decision… let her decide ….!!
Virat stormed out of home… fuming in anger… he drove directly towards his office…
Virat was restless whole day… he was unable to think a solution for this problem. Here manvi too had a
hard time making Dadu wait till her parents' permission.
Just then veronica came inside his cabin with a cappuccino…
Veronica:- (with a smile) this is for u??? it will help u refresh!!!
Virat:- thanks (with stern face)
Veronica:- I have been noticing lately Virat… u r not the same.. as u were before…
Virat:- time changes us veronica!!!! (Sighing)
Veronica:- Virat why don't we get engaged… I think it's perfect time for us to announce our relationship in public!!
Virat :- (getting surprised) what!! No veronica… I don't think… its right time!!!
Veronica got angry with his repeatedly ignoring the topic of getting their relationship in public….
Veronica:- what is problem in doing it…..is this because of manvi??
Virat:- no…this is our problem… it has nothing to do with manvi… so please let her stay out of it….
Veronica:- so u r saying problem is our relationship??
What is it??... What's the reason behind our relationship being no more same like before… tell me???
Virat:- I don't know… I thought time would take care of it…. so I gave second thought on this relation…. But I think something is missing…. I just need some time veronica!!
Veronica:- all I want… is u Virat… I don't want to lose u again…!!
Just then Sonia knocked on door…
Veronica:- k.. then I will leave Virat… bye… (Sadly)
Virat:- bye!!!

Virat reached home back… he was pretty much exhausted by whole day's fiasco.. he peeped in Manvi's room to watch whether she was awake.. but he saw her sleeping soundly….
Virat:- (thinking) yeh toh yahan ghode bechke so rahi hai… aur mein yahan iske liye parishan ho raha hoon….
He came near her and smiled on the way she was sleeping cuddling the pillow like a kid…he ruffled her hairs …and returned back to his room…

It has been three days …. Whenever Dadu asked about her parents.. They gave same excuse about being their phone unreachable….
Virat was very busy these three days…. He barely came home. Veronica was sad seeing him so engaged in work. She stormed in his office and after pleading a lot in front of him, she took him out for date….
Manvi was worried for Virat, as he stayed all day in office and used to come back late night…. She tried to call him but stopped herself every time she took phone in her hand. It was evening time… all gathered for evening snacks when ram came in with a big smile… and a packet in his hand…
Ram:- kaam ho gaya uncle.. I got them…!!
Dadu:- really!!!
Ram:- but we have to leave now… as flight is today at midnight from Delhi airport….
Dadu:- k..then… lets leave…. Manvi beta get ready….
Manvi:- Dadu… where r we going???
All smiled looking towards her….
Manvi was scared.. as whenever they smiled with that expression…. it turned to be shock for her…
Ram:- manvi… we are going London now!!!
Manvi:- WHAT!!...
Dadu:- yes.. I don't want to delay Ur marriage decision more… I want to meet ur parents personally…..
Manvi:- (stammering) but….Dadu….. I think they might be on any trip… as their phones r unreachable…
Dadu:- don't worry we can wait for them there….. I m really eager to meet them… now no more discussion on this… just get ready beta!!
Manvi:- does Virat know that we r going London??
Dadu:- no… we just got our tickets… and Virat was so busy, that we didn't get chance to tell him… don't worry… we will tell him on way…
Manvi: - k…. I'll get ready in few minutes….

Here Virat was with veronica… for a date… she insisted him a lot… and finally Virat agreed to go with her.
Veronica:- thanks Virat u came here with me…….
Virat:- don't say that… after all we have to work out on our relation together… so I think… this would be great start!!!!!!!!
Veronica:- I m really happy today…. !!!!
Just then.. Virat excused himself for a minute… he forgot his phone on table…
Veronica saw someone calling him…. She read the name flashing on screen… it was Manvi's… she got mad seeing her calling him. She disconnected the call… but manvi called him again and again… she disconnected every time… and lastly getting irritated veronica took her call and without letting manvi speak… she spoke…
Veronica:- listen manvi… Virat is really busy with me… he will call u later… bye!!!!!
And she disconnected without letting her reply…..
Veronica was pissed off on manvi…. so she switched off his mobile..… as manvi would not be able to call him… virat came back…
Virat:- did anyone call …. I saw u speaking on my cell??!!
Veronica:- (stammering) nothing… just a call from customer care…. U know how they disturb calling again and again telling unwanted offers…. So I switched off ur mobile…..
Virat smiled… and she diverted the topic…

Manvi felt like crying….she was upset on Virat. She wasn't able to think solution from this problem. Lastly she thought of calling Karan…
Manvi:- Karan… Dadu is taking me London now… and that rakshas vadhera is with his girlfriend.. he is not receiving my call.. Veronica said me he will call me later….. Please help me… (in panicking voice)
Karan laughed hearing her calling him "rakhshas vadhera" and after a while… thinking of situation he got serious….
Karan:- I'll look out for him… u don't worry….
Manvi:- please make it soon….
Karan:- k….
Karan took his car and started looking for Virat in every restaurant… he tried calling him several time but it was switched off… he called on veronica's cell but she disconnected his call and switched off her mobile too.

Aaditi started calling manvi from downstairs….
Manvi stood near stairs… feeling scared and helpless….she wasn't able to walk a step more… Just then an idea cracked in her head….
Manvi:- (thinking) only this is the last option left for me now…. Manvi… get strong…. And do it….
She shut her eyes tightly and purposely slipped her leg from stairs…. She fell down trembling over stairs.. Everyone ran towards her. They were so shocked seeing her falling from stairs. Ram came near her first. She was injured on her head and was unconscious…. Dadu shouted on his servants to call ambulance immediately… they took her to hospital….
Dadu cried seeing manvi in that condition. He felt guilty for rushing her to take London… they all waited outside emergency ward till doctor look after her. Ram tried calling Virat, but it was still switched off…

After looking for more than an hour…. Karan found Virat with veronica in a restaurant…. He was came near Virat fuming in anger…. And shouted…
Karan:- so u r here!!... Do u know how many times we tried calling u!!!
Virat was surprised with Karan's outburst…..
Virat:- kyu kya hua???
Karan:- dadu… manvi ko London leke ja rahe hai… abhi…
Veronica felt a tinge of happiness hearing about Manvi's departure….
Virat:- kya???... but why didn't they call me before leaving??
Karan:- tumhara phone continuously off aa raha tha… aur waise bhi… veronica ne tumhara phone receive kiya tha magar usne disconnect kar diya yeh bolkar ki… tum dono ko koyi disturb na kare!!!... I even tried on her… but she disconnected my call…..
Virat shot a angry glare on her… she avoided seeing in his eyes… he immediately switched on his phone… and called ram uncle..
Virat:- uncle aap kaha hai??... mujhe bina bataye…Aap log London kaise ja sakte hai??
Ram:- we tried calling u.. but ur phone was switched off… but right now we r in city hospital…
Virat was scared now…
Virat:- kyu??... Dadu thik hai na???
(why??... is dadu fine!??)
Ram:- who thik hai… magar manvi sidiyoon se gir gayi!!!
(he is fine... but manvi fell dwn from stairs!!)
Virat:- (getting shocked)WHAT!! I'll be there in 5 minutes…!!!
Karan:- kya hua virat??
Virat:- manvi stairs se gir gayi… she is in hospital now…
Virat looked again towards veronica in anger…
Virat:- veronica… u have committed a grave mistake today….
Veronica:- but Virat… she was disturbing our date… and even if she left for London…. What's so big deal in it!!
Virat:- I will talk to u later… and this time we will have some real talk… (in very angry voice)
And he left from there with Karan… Virat was worried sick for manvi…. He drove rashly to get hospital as soon as possible….
He ran towards emergency ward leaving karan behind… and entered without knocking. He saw manvi sleeping on bed… and her head was bandaged… with some bruises over her body….
Karan entered… and approached ram who was standing near Virat….
Ram:- don't worry… it's just minor injury… she is unconscious now…. But doctor told us she will wake up soon…
Virat stood still looking at her… he felt as if all his strength was sucked out… seeing her in that state. He hated himself for giving her pain….. It was all due to his selfish love for his Dadu, that she was in this state today.. … He sat near manvi…and a tear fell off from his eye… Karan consoled him keeping his hand on his shoulder…
Karan:- where is Dadu and aunty??
Ram:- I made them go back home… as uncle was not felling well. He was shocked seeing manvi in this condition… so thinking about his health… I forced him to go back home….
Virat was still silent hearing about hid Dadu… he kept looking at manvi. Karan very well knew Virat's condition… so he thought of leaving him alone with her for sometime…
Karan: - ram uncle… I think we should leave now… Virat will stay here with manvi…. And u should be with Dadu… as he might be in trauma now… he might need u…..
Ram: - yes u r right Karan… (Looking towards Virat) take care of manvi…. bye….!!!
Virat just nodded in assurance….Karan and ram left him with manvi… and moved out….

Virat was getting restless by every passing minute. He didn't know why he was so worried for her. All these days he tried to pretend, that he doesn't care about her… but today he wasn't able to so. He kept looking at her, all he wanted now was to see her again smiling like before…. It was more than 2 hours, he didn't move a his eyes from her….Just then he saw her regaining consciousness….
Manvi tried opening her eyes… her head was paining…. She rubbed her eyes… and saw Virat looking at her… she could see how worried he was. His eyes were almost wet….
Virat:- r u an idiot…. I told u before to be careful….. but u just don't seem to care….!!!!
Manvi:- (getting angry)and what about u…. u care a lot… don't u???... I had to do this or else Dadu would have known the truth…..
Virat:- u mean…. U harmed urself just to avoid going London!!!!!
Manvi:- Virat… I…. (Stammering)
Virat didn't let her speak more…..
Virat:- how could u do this???... What if something had happened to u???
Manvi:- don't worry…I m fine…. And we can't get caught by Dadu….. So I had to do it…..!!! I m really sorry if I made u worry for me….
Virat:- do u know… what I m going through since the day u started avoiding me…. All I think is…about u…every time…everywhere….. I feel like going crazy…. Do u think… saying sorry would make my worries less???!...
Manvi was stunned to see him getting so worried for her…. he stormed out in anger from hospital….a smile crept on her face, after a long time she was again able to see that old Virat who cared for her.
Virat was burning with rage. He was really angry on veronica. He called and told her to meet him….
Virat:- I thought u deserved second chance…. But I think I was wrong!!!
Veronica:- what do u mean??
Virat:- I don't think we can be together….. its useless to be in a dead relationship…..
Veronica:- why…. Manvi said u something??!!... (after a pause) I knew that rotten.. bi**h…😡
Before she could complete her sentence…. She felt a slap on her cheek….
Virat's eyes went red in rage….
Virat:- how dare u abuse her…. do u know… it's just because of her I thought of giving u second chance but u r so heartless. Because of Ur selfishness, today she is in hospital, she is going through pain. … and all u think now is only about urself…. I just don't want to see Ur face again veronica….u disgust me….. Get out of my life and don't u dare come in front of me again!!!
And he drove back to hospital…leaving shocked and angry veronica behind.
