What the VV brothers are doing right now is somewhat a replica of what Beeji did few months back by holding the cancer truth back from Manvi. At least Beeji did reveal the truth within couple of weeks (serial time anyway) but Virat and Viren have known the state of Manvi's cancer for a long while now, almost from the time when Manvi realised she was in love with Virat. Is there any justification for them not informing Manvi or her family members even? It's literally decreasing the chances of her survival each and every second when they could have looked in to alternate treatments which would be the most natural thing to do. Them hiding the truth has brought Manvi closer to death. Have Viren & Virat given up already? If the cancer is spreading then DO something. Rather than worrying about how the sisters will react, why can't they think practically? How can Viren face Jeevika? Why is Virat not fighting to save his love rather than leave everything upto fate? I don't see justification from any angle. The sisters have always been emotional fools but the brothers are usually the ones to bring them down to earth. I also think it's highly dumb that Jeevika hasn't asked for any update on Manvi's health but should I really ask for common sense when it comes to the cancer track? The only consolation is that at least if Jeevika did know, she wouldn't give up...but it seems like the brothers have

What we shoudl really say is this: Wake up CVs... Though we love the Virman romance track, the CVs shouldnt think that they can make us all forget all about the cancer track.. They dont know how to run two tracks in parallel it seems...

as much as i have been loving the behna scenes of late;for virika.. i wont even get started wit the royal ignorance theyr are getting but whetever...totally agree wit u like what are the bros doing? more than pursuing his love; viraat should have been worried about Manvi's cancer spreading and shud have done something about it...but i think cvs just forgot this for that time and did whatever worked for them!

ok lets then say virat is lil bit immature than viren and first wanted manvi to confess...what was viren doing all this time? like literally what WAS HE DOING? both bros just decided to forget about manvi's spreading cancer and go on doing their own things...and now all of a sudden after i donno how long they decide to remember what the doc had said? and even now when they've finally remembered they still intend to hide rather than looking into other treatment options...honestly if cvs didnt know how to deal wit this thing then never should they have stepped their foot into this and taken up such a sensitive subject to begin with!

It's completely ludicrous these days.

What was the reason for hiding it in the first place? However stupid the reason was in realistic terms, at the end of the day Beeji had a reason that seemed perfectly justifiable to her. The brothers on the other hand...

They have all the info, yet they have no clue on what's going on. It seems Jeevika's "ghajinism" has started to affect her dear hubby and brother-in-law too. You don't just forget crap like that.

Logically, CVs have gone haywire. I really can't distinguish between what is supposed to be real and 'reel' in the show anymore. On another note: why do they decide to show logic in bursts and not actually have it flow through the show like, I don't know, maybe a deeply ingrained part of the concept that they choose to handle?

I skipped most of the episodes of the Mumbai track because they felt completely out of place. Everything from Jeeman, Virman and Virika was just off putting. Jeevika was taken along as the token prize, the Virman storyline was too rushed and Virika in the space of five minutes made me want to pull my eyes out after their 'Mannu, my darling sister who I made promise to give me minute by minute updates, is lying in the room next door slowly dying from her disease, but wait, Viren-ji, let us try for a baby. Now is definitely the PERFECT time to have a baby, seeming as my dying sister is in the next room and your grief stricken brother who just found out that the love of his life's cancer is even worse than ever is trying to call you but you're just too busy romancing with me to pick up'. And to think the writers had the audacity to publicise that track as the start of the 'cancer issue'. So in short, what I wanted to say, was I missed a few epis so if someone would like to kindly explain why Virat never divulged the information he received from that doctor back then to everyone else?

The show is just so messed up. Is Manvi really suffering from cancer? There are little flares of sanity like the hair loss, bone marrow extraction process and the side effects to chemotherapy. And then they go and mess it all up by having a cancer patient frolicking away in the rain, dancing around right after a chemo session, having hair grow back in the space of a few weeks. Why give these small parcels of sanity if you aren't going to use logic in the long run?

My heads saying is that with the change of writers half way through that they most likely forgot about whatever happened in Mumbai and now have gone back and tried to cover up their mess, and possibly thought 'this could be an interesting twist' seeing as the TRPs have gone to the dogs.

Crappy logic like this is unbearable. Writers please stop this faltu rubbish!

Agree with you Reema. I think the writers are playing with the ''cancer track''. I just don't get the writers of the show. And I personally feel that they destroy there own shows and can't handle parallel tracks. I really found the Mumbai track usless. Nothing got done there.

And you can't leave everything to fate, you have to be practical. The V boys are just being stupid. The cancer is spreading and there just sitting their like a bunch of fools.

We've already discussed this I know, but I'll comment here again cos I just saw this and can't sleep anyway :p

Completely agree with the topic! :) That VV scene was so ridiculous and to an extent, pointless too! It's as if CVs wanted to show us that they hadn't forgotten cancer so ainvyi add kar diya :S I don't know what the hell the writers were thinking because they made a mockery of Cancer once again. If a family member or someone that dearly loves you finds out you are at the threshold of death they would be distraught!! So I'm really disappointed with VV, especially Virat! Can't help but say this, he doesn't seem like the best lover out there at the moment. He should be making more of an effort to save the love of his life. His character has been butchered come to think of it... BLAHHH! :\ Even Viren's (KT's) expressions did not display that of shock and terror which really surprised me... kuch toh expression hona chahiye naaa! They have messed up BIG TIME.

Agree with u guys!! Even i loved the Virman romance this week, but felt that the show is going haywire..The cancer track has lost all its logic. Wat used to be the pillar of the show now seems like a weak link. My advice to the CV's is that "Google the word "cancer" guys.. even UKG kids nowadays google bat & ball..& u grown ups???

agree to u ...the writers have actually gone crazy...they are now doing whetever that comes in their mind seeing the dipping trps...the show has lost logic n seems like the cvs have forgotten that manvi is a cancer patient...n about manvi's hair..dont want to get started on it...
n what are viren n virat doing??...instead of sitting back n waiting they should actually try n search for alternatives..but we know why are the cvs showing this ignorance...prolly they will show jevika being the donor is the only option n we will get to see how much the sisters love each other...!!!!!..really!!..logic pls...
