These subtle hints appeal to me more than anything and after a long time I saw a silently telling moment when Jeevika, while keeping an eye on Manvi burnt her hand slightly. This was followed up by Beeji advising her not to hurt herself in the process of looking after others. Beeji was quite formal here and told J to take rest but the latter replied beautifully... 'Manvi ke sakoon se bhadkar aur koi aaram nahin, Manu khush toh mein khush'. It was a very small moment but it gave me a flicker of hope that the writers haven't forgotten the essence of the show. It may or may not be directly related to the pregnancy track but possibly a general foreshadowing of how J's love for M will cause problems for her and she may end up hurting herself to save Manvi.. We don't need long winded JM scenes all the time because even these few seconds say a lot. It's about this unsaid connection between the two which reflects when Manu looks up at the same time as when her Di utters her name, it's about the peace they feel when they see each other smile, it's about how they sacrifice their own desires to keep the other happy.Jeevika-BB scene was a pleasant surprise because they've probably had one proper scene in the entire show. It felt so fresh seeing them interact! The scene had a tinge of humour and sadness to it which I loved.
Dude I just mentioned this in the AT even before seeing your topic. 😆 I'll write what I wrote their but will expand.
I have just realised by watching the episode that the story has not started. Again today, Jeevika hurt herself thinking about Maanvi. Beeji correctly put it, 'in the attempt of caring for others, not forget to care for yourself.' This is something that Jeevika will forget, maybe regarding her health or her relations. (I hope for the latter, as that will bring more drama) There has not been anything this subtle I don't think for a while. Jeevika often say so much, in a few short words, or even in her silence, which is a credit to Krystle. These scenes don't have to be long or need pages of dialogues. Just a small nod, smile and glance at each other at the correct moment does, with their tune humming in the background does wonders.
