I was strongly disappointed in yesterday's powerpacked punch of an episode. No, not by what happened. It was fabulous! Even the slap was acceptable for me.
What disappointed was what did NOT happen...
When Virat declared his love, Viren's was the only face with a faint but sure smile on!
Maanavi never felt the joy of his love, not for a second! I mean what crap!
OK she's all noble and does not want Virat to face problems because of her, does not want to RUIN *rolls eyes* Virat's life by being in it, as her own life is in danger blah blah blah blah...
But when a young girl in love with the perfect partner comes to know that he too loves her, when she sees him proudly announcing his love for her to the small world they share,
her heart doesn't do a quick sommersault?
No butterflies flutter?
For a moment she doesn't wallow in that love forgetting EVERYTHING else?
She isn't HAPPY, even for a nanosecond?
She's not PROUD of him for what he's doing?
Doesn't the music in the words "I love maanavi" resonate in her whole persona, for just a moment?
Not a single "OMG he loves me too... " moment?
Get real! CV's was that really so awefullly difficult to show? Especially when you had a superb actress like Nia to show the perfect emotions like "bloom bloom and thud - back to reality"? That one fleeting moment of love and Joy was what was deserved by Virat! And CV's you for no reason brutally denied him that!
