CHAPTER 16
Jeevika's Dad faced the camera and gave Viren serious looks. Viren sat there looking at her Dad and giving confused looks. He was nervous as well.
"Tumhara naam Viren hai na?" Jeevika's Dad asked.
"Ji haan!" he replied calmly.
"Yeh main kya sun raha hun?"
"Sir.. Mujhe kaise pata hoga?" he asked.
Jeevika who was standing and enjoying all this laughed out loud.
"Yeh kaisa mazak kar rahe ho tum?" Jeevika's Dad asked him sounding really serious.
"Mazak? Kaisa mazak Sir?" he asked scratching his head.
"Woh sab chodho! Maine suna ki tum meri beti ko pasand karte ho?" he said glaring at him.
"Hain? Yeh rumour hoga Sir. Main nai pasand karta. Aapko toh pata hai aaj kal log rai ka pahad banate hai. Matlab pasand karta hun.. Achi dost hai meri lekin don't worry Sir. Sirf dost hai!" He said this all in one go.
Jeevika's dad glared at him while Jeevika was rolling on the bed laughing. After a while even Jeevika's dad laughed. Viren just sat there wondering what's up with them.
"Beta! Main toh sirf mazak kar raha tha. Seriously kyun lete ho?" he said smiling.
"Oh! Aap ne toh mujhe dara hi dia tha!" he said giving a sigh of relief.
"Acha! Toh tum dono din bhar baatein karte rehte ho toh maine socha baat kar lun tumse. Aakhir mere hone wale damaad joh ho."
"Kya sir aap bhi. Bahut mazak karte ho!" He said sheepishly.
"Hahah! Ab me chalta hun."
"Good night."
Jeevika came told him to What's App. She switched off the laptop and left the room.

Jeevika tiptoed inside the room and went and lay on the bed next to her cousins who were asleep. She slid inside the blanket and WA-ed Viren.

J - Haha! My fault you freaked out? :P
V - Not mine either. You should've told me that he's going to chat.
J - I should be knowing for that. :/
V - Don't act innocent. :o
J - I don't need to. Coz' I am. ^_^

From the past 5 days, Viren just missed Jeevika. He used to die to skype her every night. Or whenever she had time. Probably it used to be late at nights when Jeevika used to skype him. After everyone was asleep. Even though Jeevika used to feel sleepy she used to skype him for fifteen minutes at least. Yes, she missed him too. How couldn't she? He used to pester her everyday. 😆
Viren, tried his best to be free during nights. He would complete all his necessary work so that no one could disturb them. Even though they would talk for a few minutes, they'd tell each other everything. They would update each other somehow. Virat now constantly told him that he was in love with Jeevika. And he couldn't stay without her but Viren would deny and not discuss about it any further. But Viren was definitely confused about his feelings. Was Virat really right? Is he really in love with Jeevika? He kept thinking. Even though he wanted to accept the fact he just couldn't. He couldn't accept the fact that he loved his best friend. He finally came to one conclusion, he didn't love Jeevika. He may be having a teeny weeny crush on her. Yea.. He named the feeling 'crush'.. He promised himself that he would never disclose his feelings to Jeevika. Also, that he would never let it be more than a crush. Ahh! But who can control their feelings? Especially, when it's something like love? ;)
As of now Viren was too excited for tomorrow. As she was coming back tomorrow. And they all were meeting up tomorrow at the cafe near by.

The next day, all the four met each other at the cafeteria. Jeevika and Manvi were gossiping and bitching. While the Virat was checking out girls and Viren was lost in Jeevika. This didn't go unnoticed by Virat and Manvi. As usual Jeevika didn't bother. She was in her own world.
Viren couldn't stop admiring the gorgeous girl sitting opposite him. She seemed so perfect to him. Her big brown eyes, he look into her eyes all day. Her hair kept falling on her face. Because of which Viren got irritated as it was spoilng his view.
Virat now took Viren's finger and put it in the steaming hot cup of coffee. Viren now came to his senses and screamed so loudly that everyone in the cafe shifted their gaze on them. While the other three were laughing.
"Are you f**king mad or what Virat?" said Viren in real anger.
"I'm sorry. Lekin you were not in this world. So.." he said giggling.
"So? So you do this? It's f**king burning. You have any idea how hot that was."
"Waiter! Ice please." asked Jeevika.
"I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry!" Virat apologised.
"That's fine!" said Viren.
The waiter got the ice.
"Give me your hand." Jeevika said.
"No. That's fine." he said irritated.
"Please?" she said making a puppy dog face.
"Finee!" he said moving his hand forward.
Virat and Manvi gave each other looks and planned to leave them alone for a while. 😆
"I have to make a call. I'll join you guys in a while." he said getting up.
"Ahh.. Uh.. I'm going to have candy floss. See ya in a while." she said leaving from there.
"How weird are these two." she said applying ice gently.
"Ouchh!"
"Burning too much?" Jeevika asked.
"Yupp!"
"It will be fine soon. Don't worry."
Viren kept staring at her while she applied ice and kept yapping about something to which Viren wasn't even paying attention to.
"Thanks!" Viren said smiling.
"For what?" she asked.
"For doing this!"
"That's fine. Stop being formal!"
"Where are these two?"
"Don't know. Let's leave now. Been too long since we're here."
"Yup! Let's go."

I forgot to mention that the FF's name is changing from 'Dil Kya Kahe' to 'Something Like Love' :)
