Hello guys, since a few of you are friends of Reema's I am sure you guys will have an amazing discussion later but since I have not replied to this post yet I would like to add my 2 cents to a few things that stood out in the comments.

How can you call what Manvi did at the time of Virika's marriage just the part of an immature kid. Manvi is 21 years old, a graduate student. She does not have much of an excuse to be immature.

Second, if you recall today's episode, when Manvi was talking to Jeevika and Jeevika had the flashback of Viren telling her about Virat's feelings. It was clear at that point that whatever she was doing was much more than protecting her sister from her sasural, it was her possessiveness kicking in. She was watching her excited little sister and realized that someone else might get her love and she will no longer be the sole recipient of it. I thought that lost in thought Jeevika with the whole flashback was proof enough of Jeevika's possessiveness which stems from her love.

Third, we always say oh we will do this in this situation, why didn't she do this. Sorry to burst your bubble guys but we humans say one thing and do another. We say we will behave a certain way in a situation yet when the situation arises we behave completely different. I will use the example of the bystander effect. We normally say, oh a person got hurt how come no one helped them, if I was there I would definitely have helped. When the actual scenario plays out in front of us, it is a known fact that most of us would just stand there and watch because we would either not think straight or quickly enough and we will be waiting/expecting someone else to help out. Point is, if there are older sisters here, they may say right now they will not behave like Jeevika if they were in her place, but in real life if this happened, I am willing to bet my arms, legs, and eyes that they would behave exactly like Jeevika.

Anyways it's also true that Jeevika's character has been butchered and at times she does behave out of character. Hope cvs bring her back soon but otherwise I think her actions are justified.

@Reemz ''Great post''👏👏👏 and I agree on what you said because I noticed it as well that Jeevika in a different way doing the same thing that Maanvi initially did. Though her circumstances are slightly different. While Maanvi was supporting the crush that Jeevika had for Manas, and believed that Love must win, here , we see again that Jeevika stands for the welfare of the family, initially it was on the agreement of her wedding of the Vadhera proposal and slowly she began to like Viren. Now when she is married, she is totally in love with Viren, when Maanvi realised so, she did not come in between her sis and jiju.We have to accept that we can not be opiniated on Jeevika's perspective to her dewar and Maanvi. Here again she is not only thinking on her sister but how will her in laws react to the news, though that she had to remember that her hubby is the chocolate boy in the family. Her main concern initially was on the reputation of Maanvi and now is changing to whether Maanvi and Virat are mature enough to understand what is love. The love what Jeevika has for Viren and what Maanvi and Virat are leading to are completely two different path.Jeevika and Viren story is depicting the arranged marriage way. It started with strong like from each other, it grows in respect of each other, care and understanding of each other. It goes with support to each other, taking care of the relatives of each other and the moment they shared between them are strong bonding culminated into love when they consummated in their honeymoon. Both of them love each other but in a very much comfort zone. Nothing is wrong in this way , it is a relationship founded with mutual understanding, trust and grow in limited amount of love. It is not the type of love where we will hear ''jaan se bhi zyada'' It is difficult for Jeevika to understand the ''passionate'' love that is growing between Virat and Maanvi as her experience is different. While Viren is more easy going, letting his brother to experience what his heart is telling him, Jeevika failed to look it this way as we have to bear in mind, she is playing the simple girl in a calm and pious city but where reputation of family and girl are precious. She does not want her sister to go in that experience because she is afraid if it is for the moment, her sister will be hurt and crumble. She refused to accept that it can be the cause of her dewar. Yes, she is growing overprotective, it is not because she is jealous or not understand Maanvi, but for her Maanvi is a child, for her Maanvi has not reached the age of maturity which in her mind means she does not know what is love. Well Jeevika is slightly wrong here but we can not judge her because her experience is different, love is not a calculated feeling and there is a high probability to fall in love in early 20s than later on.
Maanvi is sad for her not to talk to Virat, her expressions were awesome, currently only because her sister does not want it but then Maanvi is the brave girl who listens only to her heart while Jeevika listens to her mind. Once she realised that she loves Viraat, she is going to accept it infront of Jeevika but then there are other issues coming in the way of this love story : Cancer treatment, Maya and Swamini Bua. Jeevika will accept the relationship when she can see that Viraat is not going to dump her sister like he did to Maya and her sister is happy with him.
However, I definitely enjoyed yesterday's scene, like you mentioned above, saw the humouristic shades in Jeevika and made me laughed a lot. In my mind it went on like this ''Oye Jeevika, kya hua, Madhuri bangayi Bindu'' 😆😆😆😆😆 I liked it though, she was a little hype and hysterical but I like the acting of Krystle , I am happy to see the different shady acting from her. 👏👏 Well done!
