It just feels like yesterday that I turned 18 finally legal, allowed to do anything and everything I wanted.

Doesn't it just feel great to have that freedom? Yeah you guys'of course I am not talking about everyone, people who are 18 and above.

*Hits her head* Hold on, this wasn't the reason I was here'I was here to celebrate something else, of course not me being legal.

So let's see doesn't it just feel like yesterday that you watched the first episode of the show, of course Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,what other show would I be talking about here'I still remember watching the first episode and falling in love with Jeevika-Manvi, I have seen many movies

and shows about sisterly love but this one just feels real, everything about this bond is heartwarming'

And then not to forget out two beautiful jodis, Virika and Virman'

I love how both their stories are poles apart in terms of their storyline yet they are amazing in their ways'

the nok joks of virman and the mature love of virika both are wonderfully

portrayed by Karan, Krystle, Kushal, Nia respectively.

We just happen to finish 50 episodes of this show,and I am totally in love with it. We have been through many ups and downs

in these 50 episodes, we have laughed, cried, blushed, smiled, danced with them'

So here's the NL team wishing EHMMBH happy 50th episodeand may the show have hundreds more'May it keeps us entertaining till years to come'

My favorite scene...hmm...most scenes between Jeevika-Manvi,Jeevika-Viren, Viren-Virat and Virat-Manvi are awesome...whether its about just masti and teasing...or something serious...the scenes are always funny, heart warming and just beautiful...however, my favorite scene...the scene between Biji and Manvi when she says she wont go to Jeevika's wedding kyun ke aapni kushi se zyada Manvi ko Jeevika ki kushi ki importance hai...the sacrifice she made for her sister...left me speechless...what Chachaji said was right...these girls are each others sisters and best friends..they dreamt of each others weddings...and so now, not to be allowed to be part of that...but still put on a brave face...haye...true sisterly love...which is what this show is all about...

What i LOVE about this show...is that (for now at least) the most important thing and the most constant think is the love and bond that Jeevika and Manvi share...the show is titled Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna Hai...and the way that these two sisters would do anything for the other...keeps true to the title...that is what i LOVE about the show...now what keeps me hooked...the storyline about Manvi's illness(cus you know its big) and Virman! i just love them!!

My favorite scene so far is the one where jeevika was climbing up to the house with a dupatta winded around her waist, and then suddenly she falls at viren's feet...i'm not a big Virika fan, but for some reason I really like their scenes because of the way they are executed...if you want to find symbolism I can say that the dupatta and the sudden entry of Viren signifies her bond with Maanvi and how she suddenly gets a shock when she meets her Prince Charming..as far as the acting part is concerned, I really liked Krystal and Karan's expressions, their eyes said a lot even though there were no dialogues. Also, I really liked the scene where Jeevika insists that Maanvi Accompany her to the wedding and Maanvi's like 'no di, I'm not ready' but she pulls her..I saw an odd madness in Jeevika's eyes(Krystal was in full character I guess) and I think this scene truly shows Jeevika's restlessness without Maanvi.

What I love about this show is the characters..usually I hate these perfect type characters, you know Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus, who have no flaws...but the thing is that the people in this show come across as genuinely good human beings instead of fake-sweet..even the sugary scenes are so beautifully acted out that I don't feel like cringing and saying 'oh my god, as if this really happens'. Viren is the perfect hero, but you don't hate him for that, at the same time that you appreciate VirMan's love-hate relationshipwithout finding their attraction cliched or predictable...also, what currently keeps me hooked to the show is not just VirMan, but also the main premise of the show...you know, most shows with the 'family's position after marriage' theme kind of lose the plot because the heroine starts caring more about evil jethaani/devraani in sasuraal than poor family in maayka.. but here the bond of Jeevika-Maanvi is not only the plot, but also (I guess)the conflict of the show...so the writers are doing a good job of showing that so far.

Hmmm my favorite scene so far...I seriously adore ALL Manvi and Viraat scenes but one scene that stood out to me was when Manvi was crying on a balcony at the Vadhera house about how everything is going wrong when she finally wants this wedding to happen. Meanwhile Viraat just watches her and listens. After her rant, he offers to help make things right and holds his hand out. Manvi puts her hand in his and they handshake, smiling.

I like this show for two main reasons. First is the major contrast between the two couplesI mean, Viren and Jeevika give you a simple, sweet and open relationship while Viraat and Manvi are all nok jhok with some secrets thrown in The second reason is the strong relationships between each other the characters. Jeevika and Manvi being the main one but also the side relationships. My favorites are the relationship between Manvi and Viren/Viraat's mom then Viraat's relationship with Kadambari chachi.There are so many little things that you like that make up one big show that you love

Dec 5: In this episode we see, the baraat procession of Viren. We got to see Maanvi giving Jeevika the thirteen gifts she has brought for her. All are getting ready to go to the mandap. Jeevika forcefully takes Maanvi with her, but Beeji somehow manages by giving the excuse of badi beeji and so maanvi gets down the car and others leave. Jeevika on the other hand is worried that Maanvi has not yet reached. here, Dabbu gets to know that Maanvi will not come for the wedding and she takes promise from him to not to let anyone know about this.

Dec 6: Jeevika gets a call from Dr. Manan, that he wnt be able to attend the wedding. Jeevika is still worried about Maanvi. The baraat reaches the venue, Virat searches for Maanvi , and asks Daabu about the same. but Dabbu manages to dodge his question. Badi beeji and Maanvi share very a emotional scene, who is consoling Maanvi that leaving on grand daughter sad and depressed, she cannot join in another grand daughter's happiness.

Dec 7: The epi starts with a stressed Jeevika who is worried about Maanvi and her whereabouts. Virat is still thinking that something is wrong. Daabu gets a call from maanvi asking him to describe each and every detail of the wedding. Beeji blurts out to Chacha about Maanvi .Chacha is shocked listening to thisand taunts her that all his life he has always bowed his head and agreed to her decision but today what she has done is WRONG!Virat overhears the convo. Virat then confronts Swamini and Dadaji and tells them what he heard. Jeevika cries and rues so what if she doesn't get married, people will taunt for a while and she will sit in her maayka forever but concluded that she will not get married without Maanvi's presence.

Dec 8: So, the episode starts with Jeevika telling everyone that she wnt marry without Maanvi's presence, Viren overhears it. He too agrees with Jeevika. Later, we see Vadera's come and resolve the misunderstanding and asks Beeji and Virat to go bring Maanvi for the wedding. Beeji asks for forgiveness to Maanvi and asks her to come to the wedding, Badi beeji is also happy.We got a very cute Virat and Maanvi moment today. We see the shooter come in again , but he disappears when Virat comes to check on him. jeevika and Maanvi meet and hug. The Marriage ceremonies takes place.

Dec 9: Its the Joote chupai episode, Maanvi and Dabbu hide the jooti's of Viren. Virat comes up with another pair of Jooti's for him. But Maanvi gets annoyed , but viren interferes and do a tug of war, and Manvi snatches the box and runs. Virat chases her, but finally Maanvi wins. Maanvi in turn asks for Jeevika's happiness from Viren. Its Bidaai time, all are crying and huging. Maanvi has disappeared only to come in with the bottle of ganga water. Jeevika's enters the vadera's. The ring ceremony is about to happen.

The dialogue of the week will have to go to Jeevika:

At the start of the week, the way in which Jeevika had compelled Maanvi to go to the wedding with them, was something I felt extremely pleased about. Finally Jeevika didn't go along with Maanvi had to stay and was stubborn in makingMaanvi attend the wedding along with her- it was as though the characters had suddenly swapped places:Jeevika was being stubborn- as Maanvi usually is,Maanvi was quite silent, and followed her- which Jeevika usually does.I quite liked this sudden twist in characters, quite interesting really. Therefore I found that Jeevika deserved dialogue of the week with her efficient persuasion skills, she managed to use on Maanvi. Although, it didn't quite last for long as Maanvi managed to make to escape from her sisters view.

Hmmm….there was tough competition this week for the character..and as always I had a difficult time choosing one character.There was Dabbu with his undying loyalty and support to Maanvi, and Badi Beeji who sided with Maanvi and decided to skip the wedding as well, there was Virenji who was ready to support Jeevika andJeevika who took a stand for her sister as wel]See, the dilemma I was in..lolz. But by Friday, I finally had a character…any guesses?

Charcter of the week is….VIRAT aka Chep

In my opinion he was the character of the week because all the other characters did what was expected of them, as viewers we knew that they would all support Maanvi but Virat was the surprise package. Virat has no attachment, maybe some attraction but he isn't as close to her as the other characters are but yet, he stood up and voiced his anger for Maanvi being excluded from the wedding.

The most important scene by far in the history of JeeVi took place this week: our Virenji and Jeevika are now married…wohooo….they took their seven pheras and now are with each other forever. And a mention must be given to the scene where Virenji sided with Jeevika saying the wedding couldn't happen without Maanvi; I know it was expected of him but still it was sweet.

Before I even mention VirMan scenes of the week; I have to say that Virat has the best nicknames possible for Maanvi..and we got a good load of them: sherni, entertainment ki machine and chaudhurani..lolz..gotta love his dialogue delivery. Getting back on track, one of the scenes for this week was when Virat was angered and upset by Maanvi's absence at the wedding and fights to show her importance. And..and how can we forget when Virat accepted defeat in the jhoote churana just to let Maanvi be happy.I tell you the boy is just too sweet..

A special mention goes out to the bidaai scene which was done so well by all the actors. Honestly, don't know about you folks but I cried; the tears just couldn't be helped especially when Jeevika and Maanvi were saying goodbye..

We'll all probably have our own views as to which character this week was the 'best dressed'. Well this week, due to the wedding, all the characters were dressed exquisitely well making it difficult to choose the best dressed character.

So the Best Dressed Character for this week, goes to…

~Jeevika and Viren~

Seing as it was both Jeevika and Viren's wedding, I found that they deserved to be the best dressed character for this week, both looked extremely dazzling during the wedding function. Here is an image of our 'Best Dressed' couple for this week.

In this segment, I will overall rate the week's episodes,based on the current track as well as the pace of the story. I found this week held a lot for the viewers, Maanvi's plight at the start of the week along with Jeevika, Viren and Virat arguing against the injustice taking place. Though I found that this situation was prolonged longer than required I still thought that this week was extremely interesting with the various situations and problems taking place. The sacrifice Virat made for Maanvi's happiness kept various VirMan fans delighted, whereas the stand Viren made for Jeevika kept various JeeVi fans pleased. With the overall pace of this week kept in mind, I think that this week deserved (perhaps a 9/10)- but because the end of the week was wrapped together so well it deserves:
