First of all, I have been an unactive member for quite some time now sooo...helllo everyone.
After watching the last few episodes i have started thinking that why is it always the brides side of the family that has to make all the sacrifices in order to please the groom's side of the family. It is the bride's family that is sending their daughter into a new family yet they are the ones that have to make sure the groom's side is not offended. In order to please Swamini the groom's bua, Beeji tells Manvi the sister of the Bride to stay away from her own sister's wedding. I personally think that there should be equality between the bride's and groom's family. If the bride's family has to worry about not offending the groom's family and making careful choices throughout the wedding then the same should apply to the groom's family should it not?
