The 13 gifts scene was very rushed, but the hugs were really cute. I thought it'd be a long scene too, and they'd show them talking abt each gift in detail, but since the rudraksh mala had special meaning, they just paid attention to that one. Their scenes are just so endearing to watch, it's sooo sweet. Yep, Beeji may be the one who ultimately calls Maanu, specially when she sees how lost Jeevika is at the wedding, and plus she was cursing herself yesterday when she saw how both the sisters can't live without each other.

Yeah, I bet Maanvi would've been wishing for time to go into rewind mode so she could avoid making those mistakes, just so she could live the day she had dreamt of ever since they were children. Ironical that the most important person in Jeevika's life was missing on the most important day of her life. The Maanu-Dabboo scene was so amazing. Dabboo figuring out everything and then the emotional outburst was beautiful. The way he tells Maanvi that he's not able to take care of Jeevika like she does, and then Maanvi, who needed all the comforting in the world herself, comforting Dabboo and assuring him that he'd do just fine and telling him to be brave was done really well. That's what I love about this show, the nuances, the diverse relationships, the emotional bonding. The fact that the CVs have showed every relationship in so many different shades is so good, specially the bond between the siblings- Jeevika-Maanvi, Maanvi-Dabboo, Virat-Viren, Dabboo-Jeevika.. The story is ordinary, but the feel-good factor is something which makes this show very different from the others. No OTT melodrama, no vamps, just the way they're showcasing the importance of family is awesome.

The wedding looks dragged, but am enjoying the fact that they've showed everything so lavishly and realistically like an actual wedding. Besides which show doesn't drag? Atleast they're using the wedding properly to bring out the depth of various relationships. It's not just filler scenes. The way they're showing all traditions and stuff is great to see.

Ishu, loved ur take as well. I did say n feel that the wedding should end in this week...for the story to move ahead. Besides, these off screen segs, though are great n all, but they spoil the fun of the show to an extent. But i never said that the wedding is getting boring. Like u said, every relation is being emphasized...so, it doesn't drag. I really enjoyed yest's epi.

It is nice to read this post that analyzes the show in holistic manner instead of a particular character. All the characters in the show have been well sketched and defined. Everyone portrays their roles & emotions so naturally that gives life to the character. The simplicity of the show and essence of the story about the sister's strong bond are gradually revealing itself with equal importance to other supporting cast. The scene with Manvi-Dabbu was awesome. I think both of them stole the show yesterday. I really excited as track progresses with revelation of each characters. J
