So far I have been OK with Dr. Manan's character even his coming to Mussorie but today I hated him. He used Jeevika's weakpoint to influence her and to change her mind. This is totally unacceptable. If you love somebody then you have to be selfless and not selfish. Manan was just thinking about himself and his happiness. He forgot that Jeevika is engaged to Viren now and what will happen to her and her family's reputation? He used Manvi as a scapegoat - horrible. He pretty well knows the bond between the two sisters and he used this to his advantage. Currently he is saying that he wil let her be with Manvi but what is the guarantee that after marriage he will keep his word? He might get possessive and force Jeevika to not worry about Manvi then what will she do? What if after marriage he decides to leave Rishikesh and settle somewhere else?
If you all remember Viren proposed to Jeevika that he can set up his business in Rishikesh so that she can be close to her school and family - Jeevika should remember this proposal of Viren's. So, Manan's point that she will remain in Rishikesh holds no value as such as Viren is also ready to move if Jeevika wants.
I would have loved if Manan had just said that he loves Jeevika and had left it at that instead of coaxing her to come with him. That would have shown that he is a genuine person and his love is to give happiness to Jeevika who is now engaged to somebody else. It is good to let out your feelings so that other person knows you love him or her but beyond that do not expect anything else.
I am so disappointed with Manan as he is emotionally blackmailing Jeevika - not a good sign.
I am sure tomorrow Jeevika will shut him out and tell him that he is very late and she is now Viren's.
