Shaurya in ek hasina thi and ravana in Ramayana
(I am not comparing ek hasina thi to the epic Ramayana)
Just a comparison of shaurya and ravana and their similarities
Ravana: king of the demons and the notorious being with ten heads and twenty hands is the most dreadful creature known
Shaurya: though we never saw him with ten heads and twenty hands😆 but he is most notorious and a dreadful creature known in this show😡
Ravana: he had many wives, apart from his legal wives he was believed to physical relations with many other women he had captured in the battles, there is also mentions that he forced several women and also tried to abuse Rambha.
Shaurya: the most eligible bachelor of Kolkata 😆 needless to say he is the most cruel and merciless womanizer. And believed to have bets on women and had countless girlfriends.
Ravana: he kidnapped maa Sita for avenging Rama and Lakshmana for insulting his dear sister shurpanakha
Shaurya: molested and abused durga's sister payal because durga's slap hurt his egotism and could not take the fact that a driver's daughter slap HIM in front of his friends.
Decline of ravana: he was not so easily beatable, but at last was defeated by lord Rama. ravana lost his life and his virtues because of his Karmas. His ego was solely responsible for his devastation.
Decline of shaurya: he too wasn't easily beatable he used his brain for all wrong deeds.
Nithya had to emerge as Durga to defeat him.
Shaurya too although not got killed but diminished and took along his parents too for his karmas and like ravana his ego was the main reason for his devastation.
PS: I did not like the ending totally as I wanted shaurya to get tortured so much that his death should seem better than his life
But anyways foolishly he accepted his crimes one by one and became the reason for destruction of him and his parents
Shaurya the character will always be remembered as symbol of wickedness
