Even in tonight's episode of defeat, these guys stood out thanks to their expressions!👏 They owned it!👏

Vatsal came back to TV 14 years after Just Mohabbat and Simone came back 7 years after a role in Viraasat.

Both are playing villains for the first time. Yet both nailed their roles Sakshi Goenka and Shaurya Goenka.

I cracked up seeing Vatsal's confused, shocked and frustrated expressions as Shaurya's video played on news channels!😆

And even more when Simone looked shocked yet totally disgusted seeing her onscreen son's silliness. I thought she would call him idiot but she did not.😆 But that "Yeh tumne kya kiya?!" said in such a terse tone more than made it!😉

Vatsal at times has had patchy acting. But still fits Shaurya's role to the T. Simone is simply perfect as Sakshi Goenka.

They had people looking for their old videos, old shows and movies and watching a couple of movies again just to see them! There are many in last 6 months who watched K3G only for Ruksaar or noticed Simone as they watched that film. Many revisited Heroes, Tarzan etc just for Vatsal.

That is what a comeback is. When people not only like your current work but are so influenced that they even check out and revive your older work!

They have made such an impression despite Simone being too young to play Vatsal's mother and despite their previously sweet/docile onscreen image.

It was hard to grow out of image of Jai and Heena and I guess it will be harder to grow out of this larger than life image of THE GOENKAS!😆

Kudos to them for fitting their roles perfectly. I wish the show had continued and these guys had won Favourite Dushman awards at SPA next year.😆 No one else is above them.

Anyway, congratulations to them on an amazing comeback and hope to see them again onscreen. The 90s' brigade rules!🥳 They define nostalgia as much as they define current craze!

Thank you Siddharth P Malhotra for a solid cast and especially for bringing back these two and tapping their hitherto unexplored potential as actors!😊

so true. they both have never played negative characters before and in this show they were as bad as one couldn't even imagine.

vatsal and simone both took a brave and bold decision as we all know television typecasts u. they have literally made ppl hate them to the core .

i wish them all the best for all their future projects. they have made other villains and vamps too small in front of their performance and characters.

Simone looks so pretty...Vatsal is a great actor..really liked his acting in the confrontation scene with Payal...

will want to see them both in another show. Simon is just outstanding. she didi justice to the role. will miss Sakshi Goenka

They overshadowed even the heroes/heroines, what to talk of other vamps and villains? Classic antagonists!

Their case is like that film Khalnayak where Sanjay Dutt completely overshadowed everyone, including hero Jackie Shroff who was named Ram and likened to Lord Ram!

Similar here in case of Ek Hasina Thi.

They key lies in the expressions. They inspired hatred and amusement all at same time. Simone, Vatsal and Ayub are impactful actors.👏
