so as most of us had guessed, rishi did not actually rape payal. And that night & today
also payal forgave him. Its understandable that night bcos she had been thru hell &
she just wanted to escape from that place & rishi helped her & in him she saw her saviour.
But even today she said nothing to him. She spoke to him as if he was a friend which
was quite shocking for me. Agreed he let her escape but still he was there thruout the crime
& did not do a thing to save her before the crime. Do u need to actually see a raped womans
state to realize that rape is a heinous crime?? Bcos if u see 2days episode his face did look
like a villains before entering the room but after entering he had a jolt. And also it was ok to
him when people called him a rapist even though he did not rape bcos he was scared of
goenkas. What should be the punishment for him? Yes he is repenting bcos obviously the serial is ending and as the cvs promised the actress that she will have a hero, they made him positive.
He has wronged a girl & gone against her & has done damage to his own status in the society
bcos 2day durga called him the rapist rishi. Hopefully payal wont marry him.

i think they are not doing this to hook him up with Payal (they better not). they are trying to show that at least one person repented and may be saved.
I always knew from this first time they showed Payal's rape that Rishi did not Rape her, but I DIDNT WANT TO SEE HIM WITH PAYAL...no way!!!
Rashi may not be a rapist, but he is not a decent boy either. he eats, wines, and dines with devils. Payal deserves a good person. a person who is strong enough to stand against evil agains all odds.
but i have forgiven with not because he didn't rape her, but because he he saved her today and asked for forgiveness from his heart. something he should have done before she was raped in the first place.

Well Rishi is an accomplice in the crime.
Though he didn't commit rape, he hid the truth and went against Payal instead of helping her.

The punishment given to rapists obviously can't be given to him.
But that doesn't make him innocent.
Its ok if he's given some 2 yr jail with fine and then let off.
After all he did save Payal twice.

So some small punishment must be given but not a severe one.
Also Rishi is no criminal like Goenka trio.

Shaurya Sakshi and Rajnath are murderers + Shaurya is a rapist.
Rajnath is a mass murderer.

Compared to that Rishi hasn't committed any crime except not stopping a crime and lying to court.
So ya I've nothing more to say.
I leave it to the CV's to decide on what punishment they deem fit to be given to Rishi.

Sorry.
Just because he didn't rape Payal, it doesn't mean he should be forgiven!

Rishi was involved in that bet. He kept silent throughout the bet, rape, trial and its aftermath. He didn't even dissociate from Shaurya and his ilk after this scandal. He was involved in bet on Durga. He was silent despite knowing Shaurya tried to kill Dev twice.

Silent support to criminal, withholding evidence or misleading court is a crime.

I hope Rishi is not paired with Payal. No way.😲

Oh he didn't rape her and let her escape after 3 others had their time with her, so he should be spared? Nope!🤢

If he repented then why was he still with Shaurya? Why he remained silent despite Mitras' destruction?

Rishi must confess crimes. Expose all. Then hand himself also to court to serve punishment for accomplice in crime and misleading court.

Rishi cannot be forgiven. Being witness to a horrendous crime and hiding it, lying about it makes him an accomplice in the eyes of the law.

But yes, his punishment can be reduced now since he saved Payal from Shaurya's kidnapping plan this time and hes repenting his silence in court 2 yrs ago.

His jail term will also be less if he turns witness against his rapist pals now, even if he was silent 2 yrs ago.

Basically the CVs have contrived this whole thing to redeem Rishi, to show him as repentant so that he can be the main witness against the other 3.
Durga still didnt get her hands on the rape clip which is in Rajnath's possession, so Rishi will have to be their main witness from Payal's side.

I doubt if the CVs did this to hook up Rishi and Payal which would be unacceptable in every way! If they did, then we have no more to say abt this as it shows a disgusting mentality that a rape victim can hook up with a guy who witnessed her rape and did nothing to stop it!

I do not think Rishi should be forgiven.

He might have let Payal go but he kept quiet not only through a very rough and demeaning trial of Payal but he saw and knew what the Goenka's did to the whole Mitra's family.

Rishi was witness to Shaurya bragging how his family took care of all the witnesses, and still did nothing.

Staying in the company of Rapist for two long years and watching Shaurya hire a Russian Shooter and watch an attempt at murder of Dev, and still did nothing.

Saying once in a while we will regret our wrongdoings does NOT absolve him of being an accomplice and for that he has to be punished accordingly.

He may get a reduced sentence if he helps Payal and Durga now but he should not go scot free.

There is always a price to pay for being a coward and NOT doing the right thing.

He needs to serve the punishment for abetment of crime. Yes he has to go to jail and as I said earlier I am fine with his rehabilitation post he serves his punishment.
Reason he is not a monster and have conscience in him to save her again today and stand in front of her and ask sorry for the crime committed.

no i don't think so. acc to new law even if he hasn't rapped he was there while the rape was being committed so that makes him a co-conspirator too and i want him behind the bars. he is guilty too.

Nope.He and his friends should be in jail for all these things.
If he's so concern about Payal he should help her to punish the rapists
and murderers..

Rishi must be punished for his role in abetting a series of crimes committed by Shaurya and co.. I agree with some of you who have suggested a lesser punishment for him.

Rishi is the 'commoner' that atominis referred to in a separate post. He has fallen into wrong company an has found it difficult to extricate himself from it because he was basically drawn to the benefits of keeping such company. From time to time he must have had moral conflicts about the company he keeps but might have dismissed them straight-away as the benefits overshadowed these concerns.

However, little did he realise that Shaurya's misdemeanours would ending up in a gang rape and that he would get caught in it too. By this time it had become difficult for him to break away from Shaurya and company as he was seen to be a part of the act and also because he is aware of the consequences of betraying Shaurya . Rishi fell into the trap that most common people fall into. For the sake of self preservation, he went along with withholding the truth about the rape.

As some have already pointed out, he does have a conscience and the recent plans of kidnapping Payal stirred him out of his inertia and moved him into action. He must have also realised that he will be confronting a weakened Goenkas this time - Raj is no longer chairman, Shaurya wheel- chair bound,Goenks in the news for all the wrong things( Raima shooting) and the Basus preoccupied with elections and giving up politics, - he has a better chance of doing his bit to rescue Payal and go against the Goenkas .

I believe in 'better late than never'. Rishi has belatedly mustered up the courage to do his bit to redeem himself. I would like the judge to acknowledge and consider this whilst sentencing him .
