Perfect reply!👏
Love you for writing this Japonica!🤗

Indeed if Rajnath loved Raima then why did he not own up to his crime, pay for deeds and then repent and return to her?

Also if he is such a great goon and manipulator then why couldn't he threaten Sakshi? Bully or intimidate her someway to get tape from her instead of marrying her? It took him 30 damn years to get that tape?

If he really loved Raima then why he kept her on a lowly tag as other woman? Why he wrecked her married life and did not let her move on while he himself went on to have 2 kids with Sakshi?

He had good family and a great elder brother. Still he became deviant? Is this his upbringing?

Sakshi was an orphan, no guidance, loitering on streets and probably got in bad company as a lone impressionable child. I am not excusing her deeds. But it is true that such circumstances breed deviant individuals. Reason of her deviance is explicable.

But what is the explanation for Rajnath being what he is? It is a bigger shame if you are deviant despite having everything!😲

Yes Sakshi threatens partriarchy. Criminal men are always excused or it is hoped they would change. But women are always blamed. I have seen even innocent village belles blamed on other forum. Seen people blaming Nitya on this forum. So blaming Sakshi was a given considering how she manages things on her own and gives tit for tat to men in their own twisted ways. Her deviance is not just her crimes. But her confidence. I remember people justifying RajMa philandery even before it was revealed what crimes Sakshi had to her credit. The sexist viewers said that she was too egoistic and deserved to have husband cheat on her!🤢

Thanks to stereotypical mindset crimes of men are forgiven.

But I wonder why only selective partriarchy? Why wasn't it wrong for people when Raima was rude to her own legal husband Jatin and used Rajnath and Sakshi to threaten and bully him? Is it how wives are supposed to behave?

But wife's shamelessness is okay as long as she is doing this for another man which is Rajnath in this case!😆

Oh yes partriarchy dictates child will have father's name and father has rights and identity is tied to father but father is never to be held responsible for child's upbringing. Only blame woman, the mother, even if father is encouraging son to commit crime and laughing over common affairs with other women.

Hail men and their eternal innocence!🤪

No.

I said this because this forum has always given benefit of doubt to men but blamed women. Including accusing Payal of lying about rape.

It is very much a gender issue.

Rajnath is also a hypocrite. He is no saint that he is being given this level of leeway.

Call me a female chauvinist if I justify Sakshi or beg for sympathy for her and only talk about Rajnath.

You clearly have not understood the point Anu is making. In fact by making this post you are in a sense confirming the very point that is being made.

She would be a chauvinist or sexist if she were supporting Sakshi's actions and behaviour. She is NOT doing that.

Yes, you are right that it is not about men or women but being hypocritical human beings.

Then why the sympathy for Rajnath and the blame for his 'pain' (never mind the pain his actions have caused to hundreds of others) on Sakshi?- that is precisely what Anu is pointing out.

And it is an issue of gender inequality and patriarchy, however, much one tries to look at it from an existentialist angle.

Well dear. We know what we are and how we behave. We did not ask for any suggestions from your side. And if you interpreted the above wrong, it is your mistake. You comments show how weak your understanding to wrong and right is. Please do read and interpret the lines again. Maybe you get something.

I would not have made it a gender issue if I had not seen sympathy and benefit of doubt for Shaurya, Karan, Rajnath in this forum and somehow fingers always pointed at women for either lying or unfairly targeting men. Durga must be lying, Payal must be faking it, Shaurya is innocent etc. And now poor Karan, poor Rajnath etc!
There is sexism whether someone admits it or not. This constant bashing of female characters but sympathy or benefit of doubt for males no matter how criminal they are. What is it? (Before you question me, I invite you to go through my old posts. I have equally criticised men and women if they were wrong, be it Sakshi, Dayal, Durga, Nitya, Raima, lady doc etc. I do not have preferential judgement for a certain sex)

And you deliberately highlighted only one line but conveniently ignored the next para after it where I highlighted this sexist trend across this and other forums. 😲

Better see entire post before specifically calling out to someone. Thank you.

I wrote the post seeing this forum and a general trend on other forums for whatever time I have been on IF.

Hey Bhagwan !!!! ye padhne se pehli meri aankhien kyu nahi fut gayi😆

How can you start the poor series with Rajnath when Dev baba is the epitome of misery and becharagiri ?

There was a case where a woman and her lover murdered their blackmailer to keep their affair a secret. They were married to different persons yet continued their relationship. When this blackmail got information about this little ssecret he himself started blackmailing the woman for S*x. Tired of his threats they both hatched a plan to kill him.

In the end of this episode the police officer reminds them that it wasn't love at all. Had they loved each other they would have divorced their spouses and married each other. All because they were wrong and they knew it very well someone blackmailed them and they didn't even had the guts to file a complaint against him. Instead they murdered him. Its not love that made them commit the crime. It was plain lust and therefore not at all forgivable.

Such logic however dont work in the TV world. Here if pyar is saccha then you can always romance someone's else wife and still remain immune to the legal system. As one may know adultery is also a legal offence in India.

Miss dreamy,
We here in this forum had people claiming they were 99 % sure Shaurya is not a rapist that too after the whole truth was revealed.

We also had threads that asked redemption and marriage for Shaurya because that's what holy books preach us. FORGIVENESS

We had threads discussing how Rishi, Shaurya's friend may be a good man after all

We had here people telling us how Raj truly loved Raima

We also had people blaming Durga why she wont tell everything to poorDev who is hopelessly in love with Nitya.

Unfortunately we had no thread or post telling us Sakshi was a poor orphaned girl and it was hard situations in life that made her a criminal. No one justified that whatever Sakshi did was also out of love. No one said Sakshi's life was a tough journey. Whenever we discuss Sakhshi there is no debate at all. All say in union' Hang her'. 'Kill her' but we do have great threads to honour all the men here.

Infact Sakshi's oneliner thread also saw a comment where a fellow member questioned our sense of judgement. 'How can you people like her one-liner's, she is evil' ,the member said
Besides pick any other random show and you will realise how women are treated here on Indian television.

Also, people find Sakshi a cruel blackmailer because she forced Raj to marry her but the same people show so much leniency to Dayal although he too did nothing so noble by forcing Dev to marry his daughter.

That's why Atominis comment 'men are innocent' is very much justified.

Guys try to understand.

He is in love. Everything is fair in love and war. Sab maaf hai(full of sarcasm).

This man is so pure hearted that he's got supporters all around.

Why are we still chatting about him? He and Shourya are enough to make me change the channel. Both are extremely disgusting and two peas in the same pod.

I think most of the threads are are made by newcomers to the show. As in the ones who don't know why we all hate them.

Jaisa Baap Waisa Beta.

I don't have anything to say.

debs u forgot how payal filed a false case coz shaurya dint give her bhaav, and also how the sex was consensual but she cried foul later..in fact initially, she was apparently pretending to be suffering from PTSD..how durga's job was to "sudharo" shaurya and get married to him..only poor mathur was left with no justification..
