I don't understand the legality of Dev in the jail. They have basically incarcerated him with a trial. He is innocent until proven guilty so why is he not in a holding jail but out in the jail with other convicts?

Exactly! Dev hasnt been convicted of the crime yet, hes still under trial so how is he in an actual prison with convicts like Mathur and Rajnath's hired goon? 😕

EHT writers must be all unpadh, ganwars...😆

actually they can keep you in jail until you go to trial. it's called a holding cell I think.

So that is the main issue here...if Dev is still under trial why is he in the main prison, mingling with Mathur and other convicts, instead of in a holding cell?

sometimes police can have their holding cells in actual prisons especially if it is a long time till the case is going to be taken to court. that main prison can hold criminals too. however I don't think the CV's were thinking of that. they wanted masala.
hi by the way. haven't spoken to you in ages. 😊

Yeah I know, CVs wanted masala, wanted to show tough Dev fighting in prison...😆 Anyway good thing came out of it, now Mathur and Dev join hands to bring down Goenkas.

@ pallavi
yes but the goenka's need to be bought down first. it might be another red herring - false clue.

Mathur used to do all the dirty work for Goenkas, he must be having tons of proofs against them...he can give them to Durga thru Dev...and they can reopen Payal rape case and also prove Dev innocent.
