Seeing some of the things in EHT these days I cant help but post from my mob even while on vacation. Now what has made me write this fun post.

Now let me take you through the similarities of this 80's and 2000's kahani.
Raj and Raima madly in love( or so they want us to believe). They were in live in relation too( 80's mein live inShocked. Maybe rich societies had I am not questioning )
Dev and Nithya. Jigari dost. Dev from rich family. Nithya daughter of the driver for the same family. They had access to each other's bed room. Roamed about freely. Neither Suchitra nor Nithya's parents questioned them. Well you can say they did everything just short of a live in relation. ( Dev and Nithya cannot have live in you know they are sanskaari bache)
Raj wants to marry Raima. In comes Sakshi with the tape. She blackmails Raj to marry her. Raj agrees and convinces Raima( We are supposed to feel sympathy for Raj and Raima. But we should not think what did Raj do that gave Sakshi power to black mail him)
Dev loved Nithya. Didn't tell her. Went to US. Stayed there. Completed his studies. Nithya suffered lot of humiliation and her family was destroyed. Comes back to India clutching a locket and a song. Expects Nithya to come to him( Well we are suppose to feel sorry for Dev. After all he was completing his father's dream)
Raj gets into the deal marries Sakshi. Ask Raima to befriend Sakshi to get the tape so that he can dump Sakshi and marry Raima( We viewer's should feel how much Raj loves Raima. Even after marrying his loyalty is only towards Raima. We should not think he is 2 timing. Having a wife and girl friend too)
Dev is also offered a deal. Marry Durga. Nithya will come to you. He agrees to marry Durga so that he can meet Nithya( We viewer's should see his great sacrifice. To what extent he is going for his love. We are not supposed to see well he is planning to dump his wife once he sees his gf)
Now you see. Is there any difference between Raj's and Dev's sacha pyaar. Chahe 80's ho Chahe 2000 the language of love has not changed for Goenka men. One is willing to dump his wife for a video tape and go to his gf and other is willing to use his wife to get his gf.
Now the biggest question that is in front of me after seeing this Love Aaj Kal is that Sakshi was telling Shaurya is like Raj. I don't think so. Shaurya never 2 timed. His is use and throw policy.
But Dev cant you the similarity. The same class, the same softness, well if trained under Rajnath could have been cunning too and would have learned to walk away freely after committing crime.
Tho kya chakkar hai. Till now I was telling Shaurya is not Goenka. Ab doubt ho gaya ki Dev sach mein Arnab ka beta hai ?
