Suchitra was the best yesterday. She made Dev own up his action. Though subtle in her given way she know how to manage relations.

I liked it because she went both ways. Usually TV MILs order bahus and just sit back. Let bahu make son come or not. if son doesn't come let bahu cry, let it be bahu's fault.

Instead she requested Durga to keep the fast. When she agreed and did it with all respect she ensured her son doesn't end up insulting his wife in the public.

Sakshi was waiting to put it on Durga if Dev didn't come, so was Shaurya. Suchitra's interference ensured that Durga's respect is for the right person only.
