Hi all,
like many of you watching the the saas bahu saga unfold in front of your eyes, here is what i Learnt frm the show

1) if you are a girl in your twenties then YOU have to get married...it is an Absolute must!
2) a girl hell bent on revenge cannot be independent she has to be tied down by family relations as you are incomplete without unwanted relations
2) Even if you have the money, power, connections and good looks you still have to get married, that is the only way to portray you as heroine otherwise the viewers will think of you as a vamp.
3) even if you are wronged in the worst way by someone you must still marry into that family and eventually your sanskaar will make the family a happy one...it will take years for it though
4)you have to suffer and not be happy in your marriage as your only aim is "revenge"
5) but you will still keep vrath, protect your idiotic husband who most likely loves someone else( in this case he does not even know his love is his own wife:):))
5) your revenge which could have been smoothly planned from afar, with your money and connections and not to mention secret cameras now has to be planned under the same roof as your enemy.only now the work has tripled...exposing so called bad guys, protecting her husband, nanad and of course cooking and cleaning.
6)you will continue to live with the family you hate and vice versa and not move out because that is what a good wife does.
7) you can continue to say revenge revenge revenge but you have to follow traditions and be dressed in bridal attire ( saree, jewelry etc )
8) lastly Revenge will come slowly...Marriage will always come first. An unhappy marriage that is.

Ranting done!

Brilliant! 👏
Spot on!👍🏼

I agree. Makers just confirmed worst stereotypes! 😲

Durga is the weakest female lead in my eyes. Much of her follies led to troubles earlier. Later she lost face and was given new identity without knowing a thing. Now she has been compelled to marry without even knowing on what grounds the boy agreed to marry her.
Where has she used her own mind? Dayal has overpowered her decisions every time.

Yes getting married is the only thing to show. If you watch TV at a stretch, all promos and episodes will have to do something with wedding or marital discord! As if there is no other theme to explore!😲

This was not the case with Indian TV earlier. I wonder audience regressed after 90s?

We know what is going to happen. MUs, dharam sankat, saas bahu, no agency or self efficacy just begging to God to somehow correct everything. 🤢

This is why nobody takes women or serials seriously. You know the only solution to every thing and only aim in life is wedding.🥱

As if cases cannot be solved without marrying! 😆

But this predictable trash has takers as there are limited minded people who want only love stories, marital woes and woman's dliemma between goals and gharelu limitations. 🤔

We had some people online who had called Durga irritating, proud and know it all when she was self assured in beginning. A strong woman who knows what she is doing is not palatable to backward patriarchal section of viewers. 😒

Sadly makers pander to this lowest common denominator and add marriage/saas bahu even in a thriller.😵

The best is to never buy claims of different show from an Indian TV channel or producer nomatter how much they promise. Need better content then watch old Indian shows from 80s, 90s and few in early 2000s.
Star Flush in particular has no hope. Weddings and saas bahu are their bread and butter.🤢

EHT also taught that good people are dumb and vice versa, bad people are intelligent and vice versa. Women have no power or achievement themselves and always rely on men, so much so that they will even become mistress to live off a man's power and wealth. There is no honest person and be it CBI or US Embassy, if you have money then you can manipulate anyone! Personal squabbles are more important than steps to achieve justice in larger picture.
