The main flaw in Dev's investigation is the fact that his focus is not getting justice for Payal. That is secondary for him. His main aim is to find Nithya. He is not looking for clues to reconstruct Payal's case.

He is looking for clues to find where Nithya is. He feels through Payal he can reach Nithya. Payal as the name implies is just an ornament in the whole scheme of things.

What happened to Payal does not hold more meaning to him other than find a way to reach his lady love Nithya.

His whole thinking process is flawed because he is only thinking of finding Nithya. That's why he is obsessed with Durga. Her presence reminds him of Nithya in the most unlikely way. He is drawn to her because of this focus on Nithya.

But soon he is gonna realize that Nithya is not coming to him because her only motive in life is justice for Payal. Everything comes to her after that.

Yes.

Dev is selfish and Payal's condition didn't enrage him at his family.

He just wants Nitya. Nothing else. And is risking Payal's life and safety in this careless pursuit.

I wonder where was his passion 2 years ago? Why didn't he confess love to her?

He is confused. He sometimes says sach ka pata lagana hoga when he sees weird behaviour of Shaurya and Rajnath. He expresses same for Durga.

His observations or vows lack clarity. Actions never measure up to thoughts.

BTW how is he going to find Nitya through Payal's file? Why is he searching for it?

@Anu he has come to a conclusion that Durga is doing things for Nithya and maybe Durga knows where Nithya is.

So Durga took the girl from mental hospital right. He is mostly looking at the visitors for Payal, who took Payal out, etc etc, is what I feel. His major interest is in visitor for Payal though he has looked through the medication for her also.

So see the ultimate thing is Nithya.

And if you see it is not at all Dev, everyone in EHT one way or other are selfish. What about Durga. Can marrying Shaurya give justice to Payal. Now she is just doing it mindlessly because since Payal was turned away from Goenka mansion, she wants to enter that place.

Shruti you cannot call Durga selfish. She is doing everything to bring Goenkas down for sake of avenging what they did to her family. Where is selfishness here? She didn't enter just because Payal was thrown out!

File has records of visitors also?

What does Dev think he will do if he finds Nitya? Live happily ever after? His ignorance of Payal and no suspicion on Shaurya proves he has no intention of helping Nitya even if he finds her.

And if that's the case Y he is searching Nitya for he knows Payal is her life...Grhh feels like y cvs needed this charactr if they want to show him like a paagal lover

I don't know. That is what Dev was telling reading that file. No suspicious visitors also. So something regarding visitors would have been there right.

My understanding is he thinks if he finds Nithya, he will get all proofs then he will talk convince his chote papa and choti maa that Shaurya needs to be punished. To be frank that is the biggest bubble he is living in. For him punishment is only for Shaurya not for Rajnath or Sakshi. He feels Nithya will be fine if Shaurya and co are punished.

Then he can happily live with Nithya. He thinks Payal's trauma is rape induced which we know is false. Payal was completely sane during trials. She was made insane.

So the bubbles needs to burst for Dev and his focus should shift from Nithya to justice for that poor girl Payal.

Coming to Durga does she think marrying Shaurya she will get justice for Payal. It's plain idiotic. Why she wants to enter that house and if she enters does she think she can ruin that place. It's childish thinking to say the least. Marrying your sister's rapist for justice. Then what have hus-wife relationship with him till she is able to ruin them all or commit suicide if she cant.

I mean the fact that she is hell bent of entering Goenka mansion didn't appear selfless to me. It has more to do with her ego. The girl who told Sakshi Goenka I will bring you to your knees. Her ego has made her take this step that she needs to win at any cost.

Generally when you go with win at any cost certain things don't work your way is what I believe

I agree. No wonder he is being selfish because afterall he is a "Goenka". Khudkarzi toh uske khoon mein hain 😆 . I really hope he finds out what happened to Payal and supports her.

Dev obsession in finding Nitya over finding who did this to his "Sunshine" seems more important to him.

Besides if Nitya was around visiting Payal in the hospital then Dev's focus should be WHERE did Nitya disappear all of a sudden after a few visits.

The questions to ask is ... What made Nitya abandon Payal ?

What made Nitya disappear ? Why was Payal rescued by an NGO ?

Did the NGO try to find Payal's sister? Why is Durga hiding Payal? Is she in danger?

And if in danger... then from whom ??

Going after the file is useless and time wasting because the bumbling fool that Dev is he is surely going to alert Shakshi and ruin everything.

Honestly the CV's adding Dev in this show has ruined the whole thrill of the story.

Dev is added for the Dumb angle of love when there was no need for it.

The show is about a woman with a mission to avenge her family. WHY complicate things by adding romance and weakening the one strong and determined woman by

playing with her emotions by bringing in a past love and distracting her from her goal.

The CV's are losing their priority of keeping true to their original promise.
