Ek Hasina Thi Written Update 31st July 2014

The Goenkas arrive at the venue and Dayal Thakur welcomes them. Sakshi congratulates Durga. Kangna talks about meeting Durga for the first time at the party and now again their meeting at Durga's party itself. Sakshi says that in the first party they had welcomed her to this city but in this party they are saying goodbye to her. Dayal inquires about Shaurya and Sakshi replies that he would not be coming to say goodbye to Durga as he is training himself to prove himself worthy. Sakshi tells Dayal to introduce them to Durga's fianc. Neel joins them and introduces himself. Sakshi tells Durga that she's getting married to a wonderful filmy person. Sakshi tells Neel that he's lucky to marry Durga as she'll always keep him entertained. She asks Durga how they met. Both of them answer together. Durga says Kolkata and Neel says USA. Durga says when they met outside class they hadn't even spoken well to each other but after the engagement was fixed that they managed a proper conversation. Neel agrees with her and says that he mentally met Durga before that already that's why he said that he met her for the first time in USA. Sakshi looks skeptical and is sure that there's something wrong. Raima congratulates Durga. Dev tells Durga that he is missing the happiness in her smile especially today. Durga manages to avoid the question and says that she is fine. However, Dev is not convinced and tells her to look at him and answer. Durga says that everything is alright. Meanwhile, Kangana calls up Karan who ignores her call as he is with another girl. Dev joins Suchitra at the table and tells her about Durga's unhappiness. Suchitra says that Dayal has chosen a good person for Durga and she'll be happy. She asks Dev if he is sad that Durga will be going back to USA. Dayal, Neel and Durga are having a conversation wondering if Shaurya would come or not. If he doesn't come then all their efforts will be in vain.

Shaurya walks in with a gift in his hand looking directly at Durga. Neel notices him at the entrance and asks Durga if Shaurya is the villain who'll take his heroine away from him. Dayal says Shaurya is not the villain but the hero for the day. Sakshi wonders how Shaurya has arrived and is worried if he'll change his mind. Shaurya walks in and stops in front of his parents and Raima. He greets them and Sakshi asks him how he decided to come. Shaurya replies that he couldn't miss Durga's farewell party. Durga is their business partner and keeping the problems aside he'd like to gift Durga something. Sakshi agrees and Shaurya walks towards Durga. He apologizes for arriving so late. He had gone to purchase a gift and her gift had to be special. Shaurya gifts a wedding dress and says it's a step towards her married life.

Neel thanks Shaurya for the gift and introduces himself. Shaurya asks Neel how he recognized him. Neel says that he's heard so much about Shaurya from Durga that he feels he knows him personally. Infact, when Durga goes to USA she'll miss Shaurya the most. Shaurya says he's glad that he has impressed her and tells Neel that very soon Durga will become his best friend. Having said that Shaurya walks away while Neel and Durga look perplexed at how calmly Shaurya behaved. Durga says they have to do something to break his control.

PRECAP: Durga holds the ring and looks at Shaurya who encourages her. Sakshi tells Durga to go ahead. Durga then glances at Dev who nods negatively.

New Promo: Shaurya congratulates Durga. Neel introduces himself as Durga's fianc. Neel and Shaurya hug each other and Shaurya says he's meeting her for the last time. After a while, Durga notices blood on Neel's clothes. Shaurya walks away, calls out to Durga saying I Love You and collapses.
