I have to say I loved tonight's episode!👏
The beginning is the best! Just brilliant performances by Simone Singh and Ayub Khan as parents who are fed up and can't take anymore of their son's blunders.👏
It actually revealed a lot about their characters too. They, especially, Sakshi, are fed up. And Shaurya only misuses their weakness for only son and heir.
Their anguish was very very believable and relatable.😊
I will rewatch this episode purely for first few scenes. ⭐️
Sakshi just wanted to send him to jail and showed him CBI men standing outside the house. Shaurya was giving stupid reasons like Dev trying to reopen rape case files and RajShi taunted him well knowing real reason was Durga and one couldn't go around killing people just to tackle displeasure at actions of a family member.
They spoke very well on how Shaurya had become careless and stopped thinking of importance of life which he had been wasting over pleasures.
Describing conditions of jail and life in jail was good way to remind him of the consequences of his actions. Just because they saved him it didn't mean he could never face such consequences.
Shaurya was totally taken aback and shameless guy just felt they were scaring him to lecture him.🤢 He still does not think seriously about his shitty way of life.
I hated how he started barking about being their only son, lifeline and heir. And how they could not do this to him, how could they live without him! Typical entitlement complex! 😡 Start emotionally blackmailing parents and making them feel guilty because you think they owe to protect you!
I loved it when Sakshi pushed him away when he fell at her feet!😉
She admitted she couldn't live without him. But took out a gun and asked him to shoot her and free them from him! That was a brilliant dialogue! "Humein azaad kar do"👏
Sakshi is just too bound by attachment towards son. All brains, all morality, everything staked just for him.
I am surprised why Rajnath said the Goenka name and empire would not survive if not for them. 😲 Why? Dev is still there! How can he say Goenkas survive only due to him and Sakshi? Is it because of unending manipulations that nobody knows of?
I sighed when Sakshi agreed to protect him just on one condition - that he would leave Durga Thakur.
There he was having nightmares about being beaten in jail and claiming he would improve, change and not do anything wrong. But Sakshi reduced it to just Durga Thakur. 😵
Shaurya is such a 🐷! He turned with a threatening look towards Rajnath as if to remind him of Raima secret. 🤢 Besharam!
Rajnath got pissed.😆 Don't look at me like that.😛 Conveniently shifted talk to jail and Sakshi. Telling him he had defended him earlier but couldn't this time as all limits were crossed and he deserved to go to jail.
Durga seems obsessed with her enemies now. Proven. She looked shocked when Sakshi asked Shaurya to leave Durga and Shaurya agreed.😕
Dayal is totally on backfoot. Whereas Durga more fired up. While he considered all these happenings as a sign to move on, Durga considered it as another attack at her loved one. Dayal started arranging for home in US even without consulting Durga?! Inexplicable volte face!
I can't disagree with Durga. Opportunity is fleeting. Purpose is forever. She couldn't face herself or Payal if she left Goenkas to roam free. Neither could she happily live with Dev because they wouldn't let them live in peace thanks to Shaurya! They are an unmitigated disaster and Durga wants to curb them once and for all.
I like her resolve.😊
Shaurya would never let her and Dev live peacefully in any part of the world. Neither could she tolerate it that those who finished her family were gone scot free.
I didn't like her idea of becoming a Goenka bahu!🥱 Engagement is still okay but why bahu? 😲
No way am I going to watch this aamne samne ki ladaai as Durga called it...a bullshit saas bahu battle with Sakshi! Nooo!👎🏼
She knows Shaurya is the weakest link in Goenka trio. But don't tell me there is no other way to exploit this weak link!😕
Rajnath and Sakshi talk very openly about cover ups in drawing room, or dining room. Anybody can hear them!
Rajnath gets relaxed easily but Sakshi's brain is always ticking. 😆 Constantly thinking about how to tackle CBI, how to keep away Durga and whether Dev should be sent back to US convincing him and Suchitra of danger to his life.😆
Indeed this woman is too smart and never takes things at face value. She's constantly looking at all sides of the picture. Durga was right. Sakshi Goenka kuch bhi kar sakti hai.😉
I think Neil is only a bait. Durga knows Sakshi won't agree if they approach with a proposal. Shaurya will not be able to take it if Durga goes away.
Very cleverly Dayal and Durga brought this news to Goenkas, got Shaurya to sit down with them and hear about fiance Neil who's a doctor, a neurosurgeon practising in the US. Rather good taunt on fake degree wala lallu Shaurya. 😆
The dialogues that engagement was tomorrow and Durga would then go away to US and settle there only were to make Shaurya feel that his prey was going out of his reach forever
I guess they expect him to create havoc to stop this engagement.😉
I wonder how Dayal agreed to this proposal by Durga though. They did not show his reply so I assume they must be having some plan in place.
Sakshi was very happy to know Durga was going out of India!😆 The way Durga kept looking at Shaurya she clearly expected an extreme reaction from him immediately. 😃 Sakshi was rather worried about Shaurya's reactions as she looked at him grabbing his glass.
But this woman's brain is always ticking and she too knows this puzzle called Durga can't get solved so soon.😆
Both Sakshi and Durga know each other well. Neither takes rest as their brains are always ticking. Ties of blood and childhood fire their motivations.
Sakshi wanted Rajnath to cancel the cancer project. Only he is hell bent on carrying it through for money and position. It was a good reply by Sakshi to him that where'd he go if no empire was left.
Durga has sensed Akash might be in trouble soon. Akash said he'd remove that device but I wonder how he's going to carry on without being doubted or discovered.
Earlier physical strength was the reason why males got preference. Due to which inheritance rules came about. Now it is purely craze for inheritance that makes parents put son on pedestal and let him get away with anything. No wonder rich families are more into sex selection than poor ones.😡
Wealth also keeps devaluing humanity. The more wealth people have. The more they want to go to any extent to have caretaker for it, inheritor. The least concern for what is right or wrong.
I liked another Dev free episode.😉
I wonder how Nitya let Dev meet Payal. I don't think Payal pointed towards Durga as Nitya. Maybe she pointed to signal Dev that it is she who knows about Nitya.
In any case I want Payal identifying Durga as Nitya only when sisters are alone together. Not with interference or involvement of Dev. That must be purely a sisters' emotional reunion. The duo deserves exclusive reunion.
I don't want straightaway reunion of the trio with Dev involved!
