Ek Hasina Thi writer Sammeer Arora's excerpt on character of Sakshi Goenka & Simone Singh:

Which Character was most difficult to write?

Two characters - Sakshi Goenka and Shaurya Goenka. I did not want Sakshi to be just a black character. The layering of her being an obsessive mother who would go to any lengths to protect her son gave her the edge. It was fun writing her and giving her scenes to underline this duality in her character. Simone Singh played it to the hilt and expressed the character in a beautiful way.

A fan's recent account of meeting Simone Singh (Sakshi Goenka) in real life:

A fan named Salma met Simone at London recently. She tweeted her account of meeting her.😊

She said Sakshi Goenka (Simone!) was very humble, nice and sweet to talk to in real life. And said she was much prettier and slimmer in person.😊

She also got Simone's autograph and shared it on Twitter.

Here's the pic of the autograph:

The fan met her and talked to her when she was serving her. Her Twitter ID is @salyahiya.

(It was such craze of sorts as everyone started tweeting to her asking how Simone was like, and asking her to share pics and get them autographs! Some London based fans even asked her to give Simone's address! 😆 Thanks to that girl for being patient enough to deal with tweets of fans!)

There was another excerpt from Vatsal's interview where he said actors like Sanjeeda, Simone and Ayub had become his close friends more than just co stars. He said he missed the fun they used to have together on sets. After shooting they used to have a mini celebration of sorts every day. So he said he missed all the fun during making of Ek Hasina Thi and complimented his co stars for being chilled out and friendly. 😊
