Probable end of Sakshi Goenka...

I watched a film called Kudrat starring Hema Malini and Rajesh Khanna on TV the other day.
Hema Malini's character is raped by Raaj Kumar. She gets no justice and both she and her lover die. Later she and her lover reincarnate and end up at same place where they once lived and where she was raped.
The case is reopened. Now I am not going to narrate entire story but the main character who I draw parallels with Sakshi Goenka is the woman who plays Raaj Kumar's daughter. She is a very doting daughter and thinks her dad can do no wrong. She is beautiful, educated. When this case is reopened she becomes lawyer for her dad. She can no way believe that her dad committed such a crime and led to death of those boy and girl.
She is not as immoral and ruthless as Sakshi but is headstrong and defensive in her own way.

When it is revealed that her father is indeed a rapist, she locks herself up. And sets the house on fire and starts playing her piano furiously.

She keeps playing on like a zombie. And does not respond to anyone's call. She blocked all means to save her.

Fire engulfs her and she dies.

Her father gets shaken by her death and then confesses his crime in court.

I sometimes feel Sakshi would end up like that when she learns truth about Rajnath- Raima affair, Raima's lies, Shaurya knowing about this affair, Kangana's reality etc.

She might get angry and reveal all blunders of Rajnath. But she will torture herself too.

I can totally imagine her playing piano furiously, bloodshot eyes, dishevelled hair and stoned facial expression.

She may expose everyone and lead to their destruction but then destroy herself too.

I believe she will have the most dramatic and saddest end of all enemies of Durga.

I want it go like Arjun Pandit
Let Durga make him murder his parents and later sent him to jail

or it can go other way that was one of Anil Kapoor's film where his father was falsely charged and later hanged. His mother could not save his father and loses her mental self. Later, AMrish Puri, the antagonist sees the dead body of his only son( Same as Shaurya) and loses his mental self too. Thus, nature made the justice in this case

Yaa I do expect the same may happen to Sakshi at the end...really she is all alone in her life...no one truly loves her...

Somebody like Shakshi Goenka who is so self involved and thinks that she can has an
upper hand on all situations, then when she will discover how all the control and
her smug attitude has not gained her any loyalty from anybody then she will in her
desolation of the betrayal and loss of pride and control will end up taking her life rather than live with the knowledge that she has managed to fail miserably in her instincts
and trust of her loved ones.

Pride and Arrogance like hers has to have a Fall in the end.

One of my favorite movies. I love that movie for its story and the great acting by all actors.

Yes you are right about Sakshi's downfall. Her love for her son is going to bring her world crashing around her.

She was shaken today for sure, and this is just the beginning she has lot more coming her way.

Sakshi also somewhat resembles the beautiful, stylish, sophisticated vamp played by Simi Garewal in Karz who later turned out to be a cold blooded murderer, haggard looking woman, with a miserable past (mere low brow moll of a don and no pedigree of a well to do family).
I sometimes think even Sakshi is not from a rich family. She tasted unprecedented money and power only after marrying Rajnath Goenka given how she gloats over it now. I might be wrong. But I kind of feel she never saw money and power to this extent till she became a Goenka.

(What if she used to play piano at night club and caught Rajnath's fancy?😆 And he later had to marry her because she witnessed an act that Rajnath might want to keep secret? Probably something to do with Arnab Goenka or his death? What if even Rajnath is some illegitimate kid adopted by Arnab Goenka or their father? He later ditched them all and took over. Given how slimy they are and how different they are from Suchitra and Dev, I have my doubts on their pedigree and background! 😕)

Great post. Sakshis character is quite similar to this girls character but as you said she wasn't as ruthless as Sakshi and whatever she did was becuae of the thoughts that her father didn't commit that crime whereas Sakshi knows what her son did but still tries to cover his lies and assumes that as he is a goenka they have their so called reputation which they have to show to the society even if that means ruining someone's life. But I still sometimes feel that Sakshi has that women inside her who knows how others feel but can't do anything about it under the love for her son but one day she will definitely raise her voice against shaurya
