Dev smiled at lunch and told Durga that whatever he is, he is. That he doesn't act like someone else. But hello, he has already lied in that he came intending to know about the diary and then pretending that he was making room for the food.

So he is half right. He doesn't act a lot. But it doesn't mean he has nothing to hide either. 😳

To be honest I think he is a very good and honest guy. He shows what he is actually from inside Unlike Shurya... Who is the most dirty person from inside but pretends to be good.

And Dev is lying and doing these little tricks is because he wants to get to Nitya's diary somehow...

And the message Durga received a few years ago in which Dev said that he would never go against his family... No matter what happens... I think that message was also send by Shurya. Because he had a crush on Nitya and I am sure he didn't like it when Dev use to spend time with her.

Dev is surely not 100% what you see is what you get.

But he is what I call kachcha khiladi.

He cannot pretend even if he wants to. Both Durga and Goenka trio catch him and more often than not, thwart him.

He claims he is not interested in Durga, but he seems increasingly curious about her and obssesses over what her real nature is. More than Payal's case!

Dev cannot snoop around. I mean even if he wants to act or do things that are not his basic nature , he looks so odd. Even an amateur can catch him. The way he fiddled with the diary. He should have just taken it.

He makes his intentions very obvious and is not a pro in double game.

coming to Durga of course he is interested . He feels a connect which he cannot explain. And yesterday it was clear seeing Durga enjoying the rain he thinks about Nithya and this time that thought bought a smile to him not pain. His subconscious has started conencting the dots. When he will realize the truth is the big question
