In the beginning of the episode when Shaurya was getting upset that Dayal Thakur told him to stay away from his daughter, and said "Who is he to tell me I am not good enough for Durga!!!??!" Sakshi says to him with this sad look and sad eyes - "Because you raped a girl." I actually saw some remorse in her face about the actions of her son, and the reason why her son is not good enough for really, any girl. It's like when I saw her face, I totally saw that sadness and remorse written all over her face. She did a good job telling him where he stands, but of course, Shaurya doesn't get it. Can't wait to see Rajnath getting caught for sleeping with Sakshi's best friend, and the drama that will unfold there.
What do you all think about Sakshi's face when she told Shaurya that line today? "Because you raped a girl."

I really did not see sadness on Shakshi's face as much as ...disappointment at what
Shuarya has put her through in trying to save him and their reputation.

Simone is doing a great job in emoting her character of Shakshi and her character is not one who will regret what she has done to keep all the Goenka's out of bad publicity.

Shakshi's character is a strong willed and determined and resolute in her drive to keep her status and name high and powerful.

She does not and will not be weak for anyone. And that is the best thing about her
portrayal of Shakshi.

Trying to see her as a good and a sympathetic person would be unjust to her acting.

It's interesting to see how many of us saw the same face, but got different opinions of what we saw. It shows how unique we are in our thoughts about Sakshi's face - whether some of us thought she was remorseful for those few seconds, or that she just had a look of ego, or disappointment.
Cool!

And yes, I agree, Simone is doing a great job acting! I like her character and I do wish she had slapped Shaurya more as a child. :)

I know right. Shaurya has delusions which he himself articulated when he said that how could dr dayal say that about him when he is in fact "The most eligible bachelor". 😆 But Sakshi sees things as they are.

I too feel it wasn't so much remorse as it was disappointment. And wasn't she slightly embarrassed by her son too. She defo does not feel any remorse for her actions as her main aim is keeping her reputation and power intact. But the parents are really disappointed in their son.
Anyway let's see how the rest of the story unfolds. The Goenkas and particularly Sakshi, aren't they such delightful social climbers. Rajnath talking about Shaurya's shenanigans ruining his chances at entering politics.
I think the family have many more skeletons in the closet and Sakshi, there are just so many facets to her personality.
I personally relish every moment Simone Singh is on the screen. She totally eats up everyone else's presence and that's saying something as this show has so many great actors.
