Maybe he is a doctor + social worker, who helped Nitya with the plastic surgery/makeover. The NGO which Durga runs can be Dr. Thakurs, but then again the question remains, why would he help Durga, a stranger and let her use all his money. 😕

if its about plastic surgery then it could be that Durga's present face is of his daughter who died or something like that and so he has adopted her and loves her. Just imagining.

Yup, possible, there was a movie similar to this storyline 😛 ...but if this is true then there is no suspence in the story 😆

Maybe he has his own personal enmity with the Goenkas... his own scores to settle and hence he teamed up with Nitya/Durga for revenge.
