@Bold See now, let me tell you something about art from the psychoanalytical perspective. The creator, (Read, painter, sketcher, writer, poet, cook, craftsmen, anyone) makes the creation with a view point. With a frame of reference. That's all the creator sees. But, in all honesty, the creation has a lot more than that frame of reference. It holds parts of the creator, cached, hidden. You don't see it while others do.

I for one, when I write my poetry or works, it's just poetry or works. When I get myself into a situation that's similar to what I may have written, it hits me like a truck. There in, I find hope, faith, strength. Those didn't mystically come into the piece, they were in there all along. They were a part of my subconscious. This isn't narcissism, this is simply me telling you, your paintings say a lot more about you than you ever would divulge. They may fall short of spelling out your name, Tasmia, but they never fall short of telling the viewer who you truly are!

Some people, make art to do just that. Their purpose is to make art. To create something breath-taking. While some, very few, are art themselves. Their sole purpose is to let their heart do its bidding, and when the heart does that, the creations have a different meaning...
