PROLOGUE
"Please stay, don't go. Please", he begged and impatiently took her in his bone-crushing embrace, tried to immerse himself in her, held her so tight that he would never let her away from him.
"I promise never shall I do a thing you don't approve. If you don't want any kids, I'll never utter a single word about it. Everything will be exactly how you want them to be, you'll see, just stay", bitterly he cried.
"Shravan I have to go, leave me, please", with that she tried to push away, but he held her by her waist.
"Sab kuch thik toh tha na Sumo, we were in love, the world was beautiful!"
"No. Shravan we thought it was love. But in my opinion it was just an attachment, a tendre which was developed due to some unfinished words, some days in wait. With time I have realized that, you should too. I'm sure you are still to meet the love of your life".
She turned to move, he went on his knees, defeated, caught her fingers as though life was supported by them. "If this time you leave me, I'll die for sure".
"I have to go, Shravan. Take care."
She walked on, wiped the single tear on her expressionless face that hid every bit of the pain her heart was suffering through. Lord knew she had literally tore off a half of it to him and was leaving with a severely injured one. She didn't look back.

The door closed once more, with a click, leaving a broken, damaged man alone in darkness. This had killed the loving man once again, but permanently this time.
The snow began to fall again, drifting against the windows, politely begging entrance and then falling with disappointment to the ground.
