Bringing Shravan back!!
It is three months into the marriage of Shravan and Suman. They are in the process of clearing their misunderstandings and coming closer. There is a cordial relationship between both of them.
It was a Friday night and Shravan felt like going on a long drive and who better company than his best friend cum lady love cum wife? So he calls up Sumo(who was in PCT) and tells her that he wants her to accompany him on a long drive.
Sh: Sumo (he is back to calling her Sumo..not always, but at times) I feel like going on a long drive. Come with me no yaar, lets go.
Sum: (Since she likes him calling her Sumo, he does not object to it whenever he calls her so) Shravan but why suddenly and why do you want me to come?
Sh: Why not? And why not you? After all you are my best friend...my perfect company.
She agrees. Both of them inform their respective siblings to tell their family and go on a drive direct from their work places. Since there is a cordial relationship between them, they start talking about their childhood memories, the interim period of 10 years, how they spent it without each other and so on, Suddenly a truck comes on the wrong side and hits Shravan's car. The car goes beserk and rammages into a tree. Both of them become unconscious.
3 hours later. Everyone in Malhotra Mansion is worried. There is no news from both Shravan and Suman. Both their phones are ringing but nobody is answering. Suddenly Pushkar gets a call from Shravan's mobile.
P: Bhaiya where are you both? All of us are worried.
A male voice answers the call and tells: Sir the person to whom this phone belongs has been seriously hurt in an accident and I am Dr.Rajiv Gupta calling you from the City Hospital. Please come here quickly.
Pushkar informs the news to everybody. All of them rush to the hospital. At the hospital Dr Rajiv meets them and says it was a bad accident. Both of them are hurt badly. I just dialed the last dial number and called you to inform you. Both of them are being operated upon by 2 teams of doctors. Please wait and trust in God.
2 hours later. Dr. Rajiv comes out and says Mrs.Suman's operation is over. She is being shifted to ICU now and you can visit one by one. She will regain consciousness soon. Suman was shifted to ICU. Pushkar goes to visit her first. She slowly opens her eyes and her first word was Shravan.
P: Sumo Bhaiya is undergoing operation. He will be out soon. You don't stress yourself. Take rest. All of us are here only.
Sumo sleeps off again.
After some time Dr comes and says that Mr.Shravan's operation is also over. He will also be in the ICU for a few days. You can meet him shortly.
Shravan wakes up after some time and sees his whole family around him. He sees his mother and he shows anger and distrust on his face. He turns his face away from her and sees all the others. One by one all of them leave and Pushkar and Preeti alone stay back. Pushkar with Shravan and Preeti with Sumo.
The next day morning Sumo wakes and the Dr says she is alright and can be discharged 2 days later. Just needs to take rest. She wants to see Shravan. Dr allows her to do so. She slowly goes to see him. He is asleep. Pushkar tells her not to worry. Sumo is discharged two days later but she refuses to go home. She takes her place near Shravan. Shravan has been under sedatives for the past 4 days since his body has to heal. Now he is slowly coming back to normalcy. He is finally discharged from hospital after 10 days. Pushkar and Ramnath accompany him from hospital to home. He is welcomed at home with an aarti by Sumo. Shravan is surprised as to why she is doing it. He sees his mother also in the house and makes an angry face at her. He is taken to his room. He takes rest. It was night and Sumo comes with his dinner and medicines. He is surprised to find her.
Sh (angrily): What are you doing here Sumo? Go home. Pushkar/Preeti or Papa will take care of me. What will Mamiji say? Your marriage with Aditya is in 5 days and you are here. I will be okay. Thank you for taking care of me so long but henceforth my family will do it for me. You have your future husband waiting for you. Go!!
Sumo is shocked hearing Shravan talk like that. She silently goes out of the room and informs everybody in the family about this. They decide to take him to the hospital on the excuse of a regular check up. They inform the doctor prior about Shravan's actions.
The doctor says that Shravan has got traumatic amnesia. This is a memory loss caused as a result of the car accident.
