Can we learn from sarabhai vs sarabhai?

Just saw an interview of sarabhai vs sarabhai cast on youtube... Seems like fan demand is making star plus consider a fresh season of sarabhai vs sarabhai after like 10 odd years...could be web series or a proper show depending on how good the script turns out to be... But thats besides the point...Could we do something similar for our show? Come with a leap, come with no leap(since there is soo much to show STILL).. But come back alrigth!!

The channel and the ph have been blaming the audience for the crappy serials airing for the longest time and ratna patak spoke the truth giving a tight slap to them..

If indian audiences didnt like good shows then star world, axn india, zee cafe and all those indian english channels would have been shut down years ago..

As she said the copy right should belong to the person who made fhe show not the channel or make it 50-50...

Dilip jha made edkv but he had no say when it was going off air.. clearly the cast and crew didnt want the show to end. The actors are the face of a show and most of the time they dont know whats happening in the show and they are the last ones to be informed about major decisions and the first ones to face the fan's fury...

I have seen sarabhai vs sarabhai here and there and i knew it was a very hit but was surprised to here that it had low trp and went off air due to that..

True that.. But it was a weekly and was run for 70 weeks before going off air... And I have followed it much later after it went off air and was on rerun on starone during 2008 end - 2009 beginning... And after that several times on youtube ... I think I would be the first to buy the dvds if it ever came out in market...But what a great show... They stayed true to the concept and story till the very last episode... No wonder its a cult comedy among people who watched it during its time in 2005-2009(inclduing the daily reruns)

I agree that the whole copyright issue is such a farce... How come channel owns a creative piece or a character just coz they invested in it... It should be 50-50... Coz you can throw any amount of money but if the writer is not talented then the story and characters can never become cult and a character is nothing until its enacted well by the actor and directed well by the director...you can give the greatest of scripts to non-actors and watch it go down the drain... So money can never buy a story... However, yes they can call the rigths of the title of the show... Something like the film PH owns the title after registration... Ofcourse the plot and subplots cannot be same but writers and PH has a right to the story basic plot and characters...

I have not seen the the show guys but might see the next season since you all say it was good and we all have the same taste when it comes to TV 😉 , we like good shows 😆 😆

But the point is that Star Plus listens to its audience na and we know which channel does not.
