Sony is very popular because of Kuch rang. One would think why two shows on the same channel have different outcomes. Sony is partial towards KR because it is doing well. Also the basic storyline involves a Saas bahu saga, which older women might relate to and the younger generation will watch for the lead actors. I see a lot of publicity for the wedding sequence etc which I am sure is generating good TRP's. EKDV on the other hand did not cater to the Saas bahu audience ( thank god for that ) and the wedding sequence they focused on was the Preekar one, which no one was interested in. I think more than Sony , I blame the PH and creatives . Our leads were good looking , had great chemistry ( I had goosebumps in the reunion party episodes , they looked that awesome !) . The creatives did not use the opportunities they had well. Actually the director also plays a big role in bringing out the chemistry well. And Aijaz did a terrible job. He is patting his back for a job well done ,but he is highly mistaken. Also the storyline was highly flawed. Suman should not have been shown as a total bully as a teenager. That made it difficult for me to identify with her. Not that shravan's character had been perfectly etched . He was all over the place as well . And Aditya turning out to be Nirmala's son and making him negative , all very cliched . The one thing that caught my eye about EDKV was the leads and the creatives did not use it to their advantage .

krpk and edkv was equally popular among youth.. almost all the polls are either won by krpk or edkv.. i guess due to supriya ji older women were attracted to the show whereas edkv was completely a youth based show.. there was nothing that an older audience like about in edkv.. also i guess sony decided to extend both krpk and edkv and when that happened edkv cvs didnt know what to do and they screwed up with preekar and aditya.. if you remeber they reshoot a lot of scenes at that time.. namik showed an sc video where sumo was out side his house and it was supposed to be a rain sequel and there were articles saying shraman are gonna confess but it never happened..

but the cvs were coming back on trck and started to concentrate on shraman when sony decided to axe the show.. when a show is laging behig the channel should promote it esp when edkv had the potential.. a lot of members from my previous show liked nimik and namik but never saw the show coz it wasnt promoted well.. they liked nimik through their ivs and namik's interaction on sns.. if they promoted the show well then people like that would have also started watching the show..

sumo being a bully in school was one of my fav part of the show.. why is it necessary that the FL has to be the sanskaari silent type?? why cant they be a little grey? there was proper justification for why she was like that..

they had a good storyline ahead. they did not know the fate of the serial. thts all i can say
and i blame only sony for this. pH is leading 150 people behind them, i cant think that they willl not try to negotiate whatever was the situation. But it was sony who was adamant to not listen. Who does that.

Only sony and sony is to be blamed for this.
