This question has always been on my mind...why does everyone (including his own sons) call him Lalaji? 😆 It would be fine if his brother and wife called him that...but his sons and nephew also call him that instead of Papa and Chacha.
Am I missing something here?

😆 well.. it happens.. in my home same situation.. actually my mom's cousin I mean my mama calls their DAD laalaji.. because dadaji used to call him like that.. and whenever dadaji asked them to call laalaji to come and meet him.. they used same name.. "laalaji...dadu bula rahe Hain..." and it continued.. and they didnt realize.. now when they realized.. it was too late.. and our naanu(mama's dad ) asked them to continue because he used to it... and told them to continue, because he felt weird when they called him dad.. and also we (grand parents) calls him laalaji..😆

Well there's a similar thing in our house too. My grandfather used to call his elder sister "Appa" which means Didi in our language. My dad, uncles and aunts caught on to it and call her the same. Now we call her with same name. Now she's "Appa" to everybody including her son, DIL grandchildren and even her great grandchildren address her with the the name . 😆

I think Pushkar calls Ramnath "Sir" because of their working relationship...he has a lot of respect for him because of being in the same industry and giving him a job in his firm and all
