EDKV is a unique story that deserves to be told in the way the creators envisaged it. It has the most relatable characters and a lovely story going for it. It is tough to tell a unique story in the romance genre and this production house has managed to do it so beautifully. Good content on Indian television space is rare to come by. This effort of the new production house and the wonderful cast and crew deserve applause and the tale deserves a more dignified end. Yes, they may have erred too in the process in some tracks but their storytelling style in this genre is a revelation and is most refreshing. You may have been right to pull them up for their mistakes but let us tell you as discerning viewers, their effort is far far better than established production houses that have clout and money. If they get the encouragement at this juncture from a production house as esteemed as yours, they will go a long way in exhibiting how entertainment space is perceived.

If GECs like Sony who have been in the entertainment space for so many years and been known to encourage interesting concepts will not provide the platform for niche concepts, who will? If there is a chance that the story can be told the way it was intended, it will be a lovely gift to the cast and crew, who have worked very hard to get the show to this level and last but not the least, it will restore confidence in the niche audience that there is something to look forward to in television besides Saas bahu shows and the Nagins and Dayaans .

You alone have eschewed the trend of showing saas and bahus, mosquitoes and snakes in the entertainment space. Keep up the good work.

We are not asking for it to never end. Good things must come to end but may it come to a beautiful end and not before its time. Go for it Sony, show you have the heart and vision to honour creativity. If not you, then who?
