Chapter - 2
Malhotra & Tiwari families are gossiping. Suman enters with snacks for the guests in her hand. She is looking gorgeous in purple saree, untied long hair, simple makeup & all. Shravan looks at her & gets surprised to see that she's the girl whom he met in convocation ceremony. She's looking different, he never knew she's so beautiful.
Suman serves snacks to guests. When she offers snacks to Kamini, she took the plate from her hands & put it on the table & makes Suman sit beside her. She talks to her.
Shravan is starring at Suman so some of the juice from his glass accidentally fall on Pushkar's dress. Pushkar laughs. Shravan apologies. Pushkar needs to wash it so he seeks help. Mamaji tell Suman to show him the way to washroom. They go. Pushkar signals Shravan to come along. Shravan fellows them. Pushkar says he can find washroom himself leaving Shravan & Suman alone.
Shravan & Suman are alone in the corridor. There is awkwardness around as they're meeting like this for the 1st time. She's looking here & there, can't decide what to say. He breaks the silence.
: so...we met before?
Suman nods yes with smiling.
Pushkar comes there. He forward his hand to Suman to shake.
: Hi! I'm Pushkar. Naam toh suna hi nehi hoga!
Suman smiles. She shakes hand with him.
: nope!
: koi baat nehi. Ab toh sunte hi rehna hai. After all I'm ur only would be devar!
Suman's eyes widened with surprise. Shrvan gives angry look to Pushkar. Pushkar winks.
They all go back to living room where all are gossiping. Kamini suggests that Shravan & Suman should talk to each other privately. Masi tells Suman to show her paintings to Shravan. They go. Elders smile.
Suman takes Shravan to a small room in Terence where she makes sketches. Shravan gets stunned seeing her paintings.
: Gosh! I must say You're such a talented soul! You paint so well.
: thanks!
: no..I mean seriously..I've no word to express how much pretty these sketches are!
Suman is silent.
: So..you are a doctor, painter...multitalented!
: (silent smile)
: so...how can be its a perfect match? As I'm good for nothing actually..I can't paint a circle perfectly..Even I was the worst student also! My dad wanted me to study law. Though I didn't want but I did with so much hurdle. Then dad wanted to join his firm but I didn't. I joined my uncle's business & creating so much mess there. How can we be a good match?
Suman smiles.
: Marrigaes are made in heaven. We met, its God's wish. Now whether we get married or not, its upto him. God is perfect, his everything is perfect, so as our match.
Shravan looks on & Suman feels shy on her own words. They have an eyelock. Pushkar enters.
: Ahem! Ahem!
They break the eyelock. Suman blushes.
: bhaiya! Should we call priest right now to get you two married?
: Shut up!
: lets go! Bade papa is calling.
They are about to go Pushkar clicks a picture of them. Shravan gets irritated.
: Picture perfect of the perfect couple!
Suman blushes.
They go to elders. Pushkar signals his mom that Shravan liked Suman. Kamini gets happy. She says to all that alliance is final from their side. Nanaji says their family is also agree. All get happy. They decide to get them engaged today. Shravan & Suman smile. Pushkar congratulates them.
Suman wears the bridal chunri Shravan & Suman sit together. Masi gives ring to Suman. Suman makes him wear it. Kamini gives ring to Shravan. He makes Suman wear it. Pushkar takes selfie with them. All are happy.
Pandit ji announces their wedding day, after 2 months.
Nanaji & Mr. Malhotra hug each other. Masi & Kamini make each other eat sweets. Pushkar gives sweets to Shravan & Suman to feed each other. They do so. Daboo comes to Shravan.
: are you going to take my sister away?
Pushkar laughs.
: Yes. We're going to take her away making my bhabi.
Daboo makes a sad face. Shravan pulls his cheek.
: I can't stay without my di.
: Ok then we can take you also with us if you agree.
Daboo is in dilemma what to say. He makes a serious face. All laugh.
Malhotras leave.

Next day there comes a percel for Suman in Tiwari house, Preeti gives it to Suman.
Suman sees a card on it,
"beautiful flowers for the beautiful girl.
Can we meet somewhere?"
Suman thinks. She's confused & sees Shravan's name on it. She brushes.
Sheavan calls on her phone. She picks it.
: so...did u like the flowers?
: yes.
: so ok Today 4pm, at coffee shop, near ur college.
: but when did I say yes for coffee?
: before some seconds.
They cut the call. Suman gets ready to meet Shravan, but she doesn't tell anyone that she's going to meet him as none will allow. There's rule that before marriage bride & groom can't meet.
Shravan waits for her at the coffee shop.
