A majority of the audience, women mind you, think romance is defined by insulting, scornful behaviour towards the woman, wildly obsessive, possessive and jealous behaviour. So if you look at it and hazard a guess from that angle we will possibly get more virulent behaviour from SHravan, making hom extremely undesirable to a small portion of the audience. Already, I have burnt down my barge pole because I wouldn't deign to touch him with it.
