I very much agree. Shravan is showing his emotions..and he has been betrayed by his mother. Mothers are a base pillar of life and when that is broken a human will always have that biased view about women. And Suman very well knows that...I feel Suman is acting like she has no idea how sensitive and caring and attached Shravan is towards her. And how come she every time can be rude/insensitive/uncaring/selfish when it comes to Shravan. Not even once has she said anything to Aditya all this time. I am sorry but whatever Ramnath did doesn't give Suman the right to treat Shravan this way. And this in no way shows that Suman love Shravan at all. No matter how awful things go...when you love someone you have that care and no matter how much you try it worries you. And all she cared about is don't make me regret loving you...bulls***! Is she not seeing the seething pain in Shravan eyes? Is she not seeing how he has lost control over himself!! Everyone was shocked around Shravan but Suman...no she was not shocked she was just clueless and ashamed of being there.

Sumo and Dev Dixit's mom (from Kuch Rang) have so much in common. They both act like bichari's but are secretly manipulative and self absorbed. All they do in every episode is mess with people's minds and act clueless.

You are so right her words and her actions are not same. Sharvan is tight I know he is rude but she is just abla nari and just not telling him she is not even a friend for sharvan. I hope cvs clears her behaviour and she speaks up or break down I am so bored. It's Namik that is keep the show going and we all are watching bcz of him Warna tu it's impossible to digest this crap

I don't think her character is ruined... She is always been like that... hardly realises her mistakes except when she read Shravan's letter and understood why shravan insult her in reunion party and when kamini chachi clears the mess about PCT ( because after what shravan did after her accident she still believed that shravan destroyed her PCT not even once realises that he can never do things like that)... So she always thinks that she is right never realises her mistakes... About sumo's character I think at this moment she is suman not sumo

I can't believe that women still find it so hard to understand the constraints of other women...

Since his return, Shravan has had issues trusting her. I agree she made a big mistake when she was like 15 but he initially held that over her even when they were fully grown adults. He has even admitted to her he cannot trust women because of how his mother left him. She had to almost jump of a balcony to prove she was different.

And it looks like with the audience too, Suman always has to prove or justify her actions. Shravan's built up anger and resentment towards Sumo started after Ramnath blackmailed Sumo and slowly poisoned his son's mind against her and all women in general. One of his biggest issues is why she would not accept the PCT land...which btw was not from Shravan but a "gift" from Ramnath, who is the only reason she cannot tell Shravan how she feels about him.

He also never asked Aditya how he convinced Sumo to accept PCT, if he had, he would have realised that Aditya didn't offer it as a gift but a business deal. At least this guy tried to respect her self-respect. Does anyone really not see that if Sumo had accepted those papers from Ramnath then she would've by extension accepted monetary compensation for staying away from his son? And by that, he would be right about women being opportunistic gold-diggers.

Shravan does not know all this. But we the audience do, so why is she being seen through his rose-coloured glasses. Are we as an audience not more intelligent than that?

Furthermore, with Aditya's proposal everyone in the show admitted it was out of the blue but SHRAVAN NEVER ASKED her directly how this happened. He has essentially accused her of using him and pretty much being a gold digger for agreeing to marry Aditya.

Shravan is not the only one who was raised without a parent. Sumo lost both. She is far more alone than him because he has his dad and Pushkar. The only person in the world who loves her unconditionally is pretty much on his deathbed and her sister's wedding is only happening because she was blackmailed, the expectations Kamini (and Shravan, who's answer to everything was his chequebook) have put on her pushed her to the brink.

When Aditya brought PCT to her, she thought this was Shravans idea and gave him all the credit, she was so full of hope when he came to visit her. Can you imagine how crushing it is when that eternal friend says the things he said to her at PCT? Of course she is going to think he doesn't want to have anything to do with her!

Considering all the emotions she is going through and NO ONE (except Aditya ironically + Preeti) has thought to ask her how she is feeling, she is meant to put all she's going through aside because her rishta has bruised his ego? He feels the love of his life has cheated him but the guy never once told her how he feels. We all know why she couldn't say anything and except that one failed coffee date, has he ever tried again? what was his excuse? You can be upset but you can't be so spiteful towards a woman who you don't even know felt the same way about you. And say if she didn't have feelings for him? We would have crucified her "cos he's such a wonderful guy who loves her" so automatically she has to love him back? Has this woman got no choice?

Suman is stuck between a rock and 1000 hard places. All of them cicrumstantial, it's not her fault Ramnath blackmailed her, or that her grandfather got sick or Kamini didn't like the wedding preps or that she got emotionally sucked into this rishta.

Shravan has not once stopped to think about her during the wedding festivities. He left her hanging in the dance floor, PCT and in the party. He was hurt so he made sure she was too. And because Suman did not go tit-for-tat with him while he berated her, being mature enough to hold off. And because her prime concern is that in his anger he becomes someone she can't recognize, we are so quick to lay all the blame on her and her ego.

Let's face it, no matter how much we "progress", it seems even women agree that a man can have his ego but a woman cannot have even have some self respect but that she must always succumb/apologise/understand/be accountable to the ego of man...

Are you implying that all the women here that support shravan and criticize Suman are doing so because she is a woman ? If so, you are throughly mistaken. The issue here is with the inconsistent characterization of Suman , so let's not make it a gender issue. Nobody here wants her to stoke shravan's ego, if she can communicate effectively enough that should suffice. And yes supporting Suman does not make you more of a feminist than any one of us.
