So I saw the episode...
Did like Namik's acting and Shravan's outburst:as in all the things he said, because he has bared his wounds completely, and his shattered heart now lays bare in front of her...
Didn't like how he physically expressed his anger - I know it is for drama quotient, but he should not have thrown his food.
Did like how Shravan voiced his each and every hurt. There is a reason he thinks like this - and accuses Suman so. She always was shown to be "image" conscious, so it goes well with how everything from a young age till date has played into this big showdown. She liked taking favors from him, but didn't want people to know, and now as she has grown up she does this "self respect" jaap again and again, but clearly so it seems she just wants to protect this image in front of everyone. She has also, as such never "stood up" for Shravan's friendship - because she always stands up for her self respect, except that one time where she gave Shravan the credit for handling Khosla and Varun's cheque. I am not saying she has not done anything for Shravan, I am saying how everything that has happened recently during the wedding has made her more of a "my way or highway" type of a person who is willing to do zero compromise, and that she will often use any "means" to get what she wants and who changes rules (lehnga instance, where she literally defends Adi) as per her convenience.
Shravan has been mean, angry, but compared to Suman pretty vocal about where Suman stands in his life. Yes, he has not expressed his love yet, but he has always maintained where she stands in his life... Shravan has forgiven her for many many things (even without her apologizing or being proven wrong, like Nirmala's case where he eventually appreciates that she just may have a different opinion and she didn't mean to hurt her).
Didn't like the Sumo-Sumo conversation.My biggest rue with Suman is that she never introspects - she is very "jhalli" or superficial in her approach to Shravan. She understands he is stuck in his past, and sympathesizes but doesn't empathesize. She doesn't empthasize with Shravan in the Nirmala incident, nor does she understand when he called her selfish etc., the first time around and says he misses her (she is sad but happy and insensitively more curious to know if he misses her the next second), and even today, her immediate reaction is, "Shravan ne ek minute mein dosti khatam kar di, aur mein... ye soch ke baithi thi... ki wo". So all in all today she concludes he doesn't love her. She has not noticed how much he has done for her, and in a way she doesnt know or trust his love either (expects him to see hers) in things that he has done for her. Heck she does not even put two and two together to see that their friendship can't just be a reason why Ramnath would even blackmail her so... and needed a silly jealousy track to assure herself of his love. She has been constantly hurting Shravan today, and suddenly today she is questioning WHY SHRAVAN REACTED THIS WAY?
Did like how Nirmala said she will talk about alliance after marriage (so I take it as after Aditya talks to Suman). I guess the urgency will come from Nanu's critical state, not because she wanted to do it... So I guess she is a sensible person who did want to go about this the right way than not.
Hated little Suman's advice to Suman completely. If this is how Suman thinks, then clearly, this is exactly why Shravan thinks Suman is selfish. I mean, Shravan ko apni zindagi se fenk de... like seriously?
We all know, tomorrow the alliance will come up. KEY QUESTION IS will Suman introspect, or
Emotionally given into what Nanu wants?
Even think once how this relationship will affect Shravan? Or because he said everything is finished today, she accepts that as is, and decides to do it nonetheless, because now that friendship is over, she doesn't owe it to shravan to not marry Nirmala's son.
Or think that this is the son and the person because of whom Shravan was deprived of a mother's love for so many years, and of all the guys in the world, he doesnt have to be the one she marries...
Her yes, will be the final nail in the coffin.
Key thing is marriage is still remaining, so there is going to be some ShraMan interaction, in store for us...
Sometimes, I do feel Ramnath is right. Suman and Shravan may love each other, but they are not meant for each other. Because if they are, then there has to be a commitment from both to ignore their "egos" and work towards the relationship. I may be in the minority here, but in this regard, Shravan has always been the bigger facilitator and provider in this relationship... and Suman the taker. Suman has been the more happy go lucky, so I am not saying she doesn't have demons to fight or responsibilities, but despite being an orphan, she has to deal with financial responsibilities (not lack of love) and Shravan on the other hand, has had to deal with a lot more, alone. I am not defending anyone... but often love can get lost and buried under other things. Passion, love or friendship is not enough - and at least till now Suman has clearly shown that she can do anything but "give" up her self respect (which is border line ego, just like Shravan's outburst is border line psychotic) for this relationship. She can do it for her family, but not Shravan (not yet, atleast).
Let's wait and watch...
