The story seems to have no direction. From more thna a month we are seeing PreeKar wedding functions 🤢 Yes it started on 5th July, when the Tiwaris went to Malhotras with Preeti's rishta. Five weeks down the lane what all we got to see was Kamini putting forth her filthy demands and ShraMan fighting for every tad bit of stupid reason while the rest of the characters behaved like typical spine-less creatures. There seems like no conclusion to this drama. And honestly, ShraMan are upset/angry on each other for the worst and most dumb reasons ever. All the reasons for which they fought before this were pretty much valid, be it Sumo making Shravan to meet his mom w/o telling him in advance or be it Shravan not openly helping her when PCT got demolished. They were such sort after tracks. But now they just don't know why are they fighting. And to add we have the character inconsistency of all times. So Sumo who gets mad in taking help from anyone actually accepts the lehenga she knew Adi paid for. Whereas Shravan who always knew the ulterior motives of chachi is supporting her against Sumo even when Pushkar lalaji and even Varun are not supporting her. On one hand Sumo snubs Adi for being too friendly and on the other herself becomes so friendly with him just to make Shravan jealous. And Shravan, when he knows she doesnt like to take help, why he always has to offer monetary help and make her feel indebted. Dude you can also help in other ways or just simply help w/o asking. Why ask so much? What is this? Where is the logical EDKV gone?Anything for the sake of drama
Honestly I have never seen a show where we dont have a single cupid for the couple. Earlier atleast PreeKar used to support them but even they are in their own lala land these days. Ramu is totally anti-ShraMan 🤢 Nirmala is as clueless as ever. Adi is as blind as his mother is clueless. Nanji is the biggest weakling. Mami-Mama at their meanest best. And Kamini, well she is the only one in character but again she is more a case of "clouds that thunder seldom rain" There is simply no one to understand the situation of these two or who genuinely thinks good for them.
I once LOVED this show for its simplicity. For the sweet relationships like nanu-Sumo (which is only about Sumo's marriage talks now), like Shravan-Pushkar, like ShraMan's cute bickering. But suddenly all that simplicity has gone down the drain. These days there have eben so many incidents I just read the LU and watched only if there was a good ShraMan scene. It never happened earlier.
