New me; hi to all. This forum & your perspectives makes the watching much more wonderful - thank you. Love this show immensely - and like what it offers; but there are odd phases when I expect more and receive less, go into a rant - one such below. It takes away nothing of my fascination & interest for the show! - I will have to explicitly say that (the topic demands it for sure - you may understand at the end of this).
Where communication stops, chaos starts. Maybe, that's my reading of the situation. Right from day 1, the lead characters got us glued, since they were communicating. No pretence, no hoarding of words - even if it meant to say moved on'. While the leads were not in good terms too, they were talking - by words, yes; and through uniform' actions a lot more.
Now they have ceased to communicate. Leaving it to the other person's intelligence, heart some may term it, to recognise the words' is a pretty dangerous situation, in a world which is polluted by loads of rubbish (ill-advices, wrong references, father figures and a 1000 more). We would have been in a different planet altogether if the questions raised by one to the other had been answered with words; or uniformity in actions. We see neither happening and is with what we have in hand. By uniform actions, I mean a single-directional action; but, what we see recently is multi-dimensional actions and all over the space!
I know that both leads have come through a lot in life; and have a lot of prejudices to be shed - hence these situations of doubts, need-for-validations & re-validations - still to me, something is amiss. And that to my linear mind is communication'. It is what will let them reach the destination hand-in-hand!
Is it too much to wish that the leads actually communicate and work together - than, working for each other without communicating. What is with the fascination of showing MU (or differences), by both being right from their side, doing their best to support the other, but without each others' knowledge - I will never understand. Might be am a little crooked and for me the means' matter more than the end.
I wish, while trying to show that they will reach the destination, they do not show that their journey had been miserable. The craver-for-happy-feels in me is not one who is satisfied with a happily ever after - but for how they happily made it to the ever after.
