Dear EKDVians,
A lot of you had appreciated my last weeks analysis and had joined me in the discussion.
So here it is for this week. All comments and all POV's welcome. Do read and let me know your thoughts.

The much talked about Rubik's cube is an actual representation of Shravan's state of mind.
We would all agree on that and thanks to Lalaji for enlightening us on it. We always remember the times when Shravan solves it like the third episode (I believe) where he solves it in front of Dabbu. There is one time though that he throws it away in frustration and ofcourse he had fought with Sumo that day.
Remember he storms off after the dialogue "Tumhe accha lagta hai ki main tumhe miss karta hoon" and that evening he is trying to solve it and throws it away in sheer frustration. He was confused then and is confused now and has been confused for a long time. But is he the only one who is ? Let's look at Sumo. She has been clearly the inverse of Shravan. She was very clear when Shravan was confused and very confused when Shravan was clear.The fact that they both did not have clarity at the same point in time has so far played out to Ramnath's advantage till now.
Adithya or no Adithya (I honestly don't think his presence matters at all), jealously or no jealousy, both Sumo and Shravan cannnot stay away from each other for long. If anything, Ramnath and Adithya can only seperate them for a while but they will go back to each other. Did you hear him say "Sumo" when he heard her voice ? Where was all that anger, all the frustartion and all the hurt ? You will not even find a trace of it.
"Tumhe lagtha hai ki tum mujhse kabhi bhi jhoot keh paogi ? Try hi kyon karti ho ?"
He said everything that he wanted to say. I don't think Shravan was ever angry with Sumo for avoiding him or hurting him, he was angry becuase he could see through the lies of her being busy, a big fat lie that she did not know what he wants to speak about. He knows that she knows and he knows that she is lying, thats the frustration, that something is troubling Sumo and his helplessness in not being there for her.
Sumo likewise asks him the same question and yes in the end he says there is something but that its not so important right now. How true ! How in one small dialgoue have they shown what Adithya's rightful place is.
Did you see how they willingly gave in to each other ?
"Tumhe lagta hai ki tum mujhse argument mein jeet jaogi ?"
"To main haar jaaon ?"
Do you see her put up a fight ? Does she say that I have self-respect, I can help myself, I don't need you.
She smiles and gives in. Sumo has no ego when it comes to Shravan,some situations have been played out like that but she will listen if he says. Shravan does the same, when she hugs him and says
"Aisa phir kabhi mat karna", he won't say a word against it, just that "Accha baba, nahi karoonga"
Today's phone call and the incident following it is a very dangerous thing for Ramnath. Two people whom he had controlled, one by manipulation and another by emotional blackmail are together now. Both are in the same state of mind, the confusion is gone and clarity is here.
In today's episode, I felt the phone call was more important than the hug.
Look back and think about the episode where Shravan gives a ride to Dabboo and Sumo in his car. She says something like
"Kabhi yeh nahin socha tha ki hum dono itne paas hokar bhi itne door honge".
Today was the contrast, they were physically apart but with each other. This shows that beyond the outside interferences, they have only grown closer. The phone call is almost a confession, he said it actually. He is not talking about her being as beautiful as the moon or them living a life with the stars etc, he is saying what really matters, what is the essence of a proposal (for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part) the fact that he wants to be there and he will be there for her always.
I would find it fake if Shraman say "I love you" to each other after this. He said what had to be said. And whats more important is Sumo's response. Nothing then but the "yes" is there in the hug.
Don't you dare leave me again after saying that you will be there always. I don't think she needs to say anything more. No need to ask how much he loves her or any such trivial questions we are so used to seeing.
So yes Shravan has confessed and Sumo has accepted too. Not in words, but in actions.
Ramnath is having a nightmare. All his scheming, plotting everything is now wiped clean. They both were standing together like before. Shravan will give that as proof to his father, that Sumo loves him. And from the precap, I think Sumo is not going to listen to him anymore either. It will be an interesting turn of events. The CVs just had to leave us wondering about the confrontation, didn't they ?
Ramnath is not to be underestimated. During the Khosla case he says to Shravan
"Ek accha vakeel woh hota hai jo court mein case jeet tha hai par ek bada vakeel woh hota hai jo court tak case jaane nahi deta"
He tried being a bada vakeel already, by going behind his son's back and blackmailing Sumo. Time for him to try being a accha vakeel. Let's see if he has it in him to talk to them together directly, I don't think he would though. Till you figure it out, check-mate Mr. Bade vakeel.
Its already too long, but I want to add a few lines of a song that I think is relevant, not just to Shraman but to us, the fandom.
