Hey everyone!! I used to be pretty active on IPK forum, but since then no show has prompted me to come back to the forum like EDKV did. Here are my two cents on the different characters...
New entry - My take on him is positive. I have felt the story dragging since Suman started ignoring Shravan. If they had just shown it for 2-3 days and moved on, it would have been okay. But almost 3 weeks is a bit too long to digest. So for me the new entry is a breath of fresh air. My first impression of Aditya is that he is going to be an affectionate light hearted character, whom we are all going to fall in love with. Sure, take me on if I am wrong😊 He is certainly not an iota of threat to Shravan!! Only Shravan wont realize it...
Suman - independent and self-reliant. She has always been like that. Agreed, that if I hear the words "self-respect" another time from her, I will throw something at her. So if something is wrong, it is the execution. Not what she stands for.
Chachi has been "demanding" things every other day. That is just a euphemism for dowry. I would have been happier had she just stayed within her means and not incurred such huge loans. A wedding celebration should not be bigger than your wedded life. However, that is a completely different issue and warrants a serious discussion elsewhere.
Shravan - If anyone was a bit out of character, for me, it was Shravan. The Shravan I know would have never left her alone to face the music alone in front of so many people. But I guess the last 3 weeks have taken a toll on him too and he has had enough from Sumo. So he reacted without thinking about the consequences.
As for Shravan supporting chachi, he is not really supporting her. He knows chachi very well. However, he also knows that she will not think twice before insulting the Tiwaris or Sumo. So, this is his way of protecting them. For him, money is no big deal, so if he can pay the expenses and keep both sides happy (by reducing Sumo's burden and meeting chachi's unreasonable demands), why not just do it and get it done with!
