I don't see any fault of Shravan here, it's too late to prevent a water spill when the pot has overflowed. Sumo has been testing his patience since last week. And the way she said "khatam karte hai yeh sab" ... Uhhh what? Shravan has his own respect too. Also, he didn't just hurt her family, this wedding is not only about sumo's family, his brother is involved too. But for him logic matters more, not foolish self respect drama. And why will he not worry about his chachi's feelings? Just the way she was so hurt about her mother's name and stuff when Shravan gave Khosla money, Shravan has complete right to feel for his chachi. And chachi was genuinely upset today. Last time I checked, a wedding always happens with the likes and dislikes of both sides. Sumo isn't even considering chachi's requirements, other than the main wedding which would take place in a 5-star.
There is definitely a communication gap. I don't understand why these two can't simply talk. It would make things much easier.

A good episode which has thrown up all kinds of possibilities for a good track ahead. A jealous shravan is going to be swoonworthy and probably react in all extreme ways seeing Suman's proximity to the new guy.

But Suman seriously what is it with the woman? the self-respect jaap is like her every excuse for taking any and every action. it is grating so much now.

To do/not to do an action due to self-respect is acceptable when that action pertains only you and not where families and other people are involved because the impact of such (or no) action is also on the surrounding people. Sumo should have realised that all said and done there is a huge strata difference between the tiwaris and the Malhotras. And in the circles the Malhotras move in, every slip-up becomes magnified. it may be rather superficial to be judged on material lines but unfortunately that is how our society is. She should have thought through the choice of the venue carefully and listened to Shravan and not started chanting her self-respect spiel.

And what I dont understand is how are mama and mami not involved in any decision making of the wedding arrangements? its their daughter's wedding after all. Shouldnt they not have knocked some sense into Suman?

And that is what Shravan was trying to make Suman understand since so many days, including today. He knew how much appearances mattered to his chachi (superficial it may be) But no, our madam was on her own trip and did not even in the beginning give an opportunity to him to explain. Agreed his approach was wrong in maneuvering to get her to move the venue, but i dont think he could have adopted a direct approach- she just refuses to listen to him.

I have always admired Sumo's character- it is one of those few strong written ones which we rarely see on Indian tv, including her strongest assets, he principles and elf-respect. I have loved the bits where she has based decisions on her principles keeping her self-respect intact. But in this case, the issue is not her self-respect but a larger one of reputations to uphold and relationships to be balanced. And at such times self-respect often has to be subsumed in the larger scheme of things. Her self-respect has in so far as the PreeKar marriage goes, become her biggest flaw.

Coming to the new guy totally agnostic towards his entry today and his looks. But "Lead" like whose deluding whom?hes a cross we will have to bear for the story to move but if the CVs are intending for him to eat into Shravan's screen time then reactions to that will come and will come with a vengeance.

Though i do feel excited with this entry, i hope that it would move in tandem to Nirmala's track (CVs need to bring her back asap) and there is a closure to her track as well. If this track rambles off endlessly on its own and we are going to be tortured with scenes of Sumo with this chap, then God save us.

Since the sangeet fiasco has added fuel to chachi's Ramnath revenge fire, hopefully she will take concrete and quinck steps to bring Shravan closer which with combined with a jealous shravan can just give us those intense ShraMan scenes and there is progress in the story. Caveat here being that CVs treat this track in the way we envisage and not just random scenes stitched together with the new chappie being around unnecessarily like Ramnath in most scenes. 😕

Well I understand this is necessary but I'm not getting the exact purpose of this new guy... He will only make Shravan jealous?!? Shravan's intense burning love will come out? Or something else?

I guess its about revealing the truth..we will have to wait and watch.. 😕

Maybe when Ramnath's truth is revealed...this track will help Shravan understand Nirmala's pov...he will maybe understand that whatever Nirmala did was due to Ramnath's manipulation...just like what Sumo is doing now! I don't know...I am clueless!
