Everyone enjoyed the Sangeet ceremony and praised the overall arrangements, specially the food.
Few guests also wanted to know the caterer details. Preetha happily gave PCT card and prayed to god that atleast our business will bloom..
After dinner, Ramnath was standing with Nanu, alaji, mamaji, Varun and Shravan when his friend came and appreciated Suman for the overall arrangements and food. Nanu was really proud and said she had personally cooked the food for all the guests and worked very hard to make this function a success...
Few more of Ramnath relatives joined and praised Suman.. Ramnath was really irked.. but he noticed Shravan was silent during the whole exchange..
Malhotra's :
Malhotra family took their leave..
Shravan left with Ramanth, Pushkar and lalji. Varun left with Kamini and Vandy.
On the way Pushkar scolded Shravan for missing his Sangeet and he should have asked Suman to wait for him.
Shravan reluctantly smiled and kept silent. Ramanth said that he had informed Suman Shravan will be late but looks like Suman was very busy and decided not to wait.
Suddenly the car lurched... and everyone looked at Shravan..
He apologized and said he thought he saw something on the road. Ramnath could see the pain in Shravan eyes but thought son, this is necessary..better to be hurt now to prevent the future pain...
Everyone went to their room.
Ramnath stopped Shravan and asked if he wanted to drink coffee...
Shravan sadly looked at him and declined and continued to his room...
Shravan went inside and locked his room and stood next to the window...
He silently kept on looking outside the window .. he was still in shock...
After few hours when he still could not sleep.. he decided to go out for a drive...
he drove and ended up in front of Tiwari killa...
Tiwari's:
Everyone was very happy and praised Suman for the arrangement. Preethi hugged Suman and thanked her. Suman smiled.
All of them decided to sit around for some more time.
Suman excused herself saying she was tired and wanted to sleep.
She went inside and closed the door. She went and changed her clothes. She sat on her bed and recalled the whole function and could only think of Shravan last look filled with hatred and atlast she could not stop her tears...
Atlast she took out her memory box and sat on the ground with it...
She looked at each and every item.. recalled all the beautiful memories and realised she will never have her Shravan and will be left with only these memories.
She took her and shravan pic and holding it to her heart prayed to god that Shravan should forgive her and ultimately cried herself to sleep..
Shravan:
He stood there and realised everyone was asleep. He felt as if everything was slipping from his hands...
He wanted answers.. wanted to see her, talk to her, ask her, force her to answer him...
he went to the backside, climbed the ladder and went through the attic and entered the house.
he silently went to Suman's room and opened the door.
In the dark he could make out the bed was empty...
he was going to turn back when he heard a sob and slowly went inside and closed the door.
With the help of his mobile torch light he went around the bed and found Suman sleeping on the floor and crying in her sleep.
He silently picked her up and put her in the bed. She was holding something in her hand and he slowly removed it and looked at it.
It was their childhood photograph. They were grinning at each other. He smiled and thought life was so simple in his childhood.
He kept the photograph on the side table and turned to leave and his leg bumped into something. He looked down and saw the box and slowly sat on the floor and looked inside.. and found himself and their childhood memory in each and every item.
He found some diaries too and slowly took out all the diaries and turned to go...
Before leaving he again looked at her and saw the dry tears on her cheeks...
He stopped, sat on the bed, kept the diaries on the bed and took her hands and kissed them ... She turned towards him in her sleep and slowly silent tears dropped from her eyes..
He wiped her tears and slowly bent down and holding her face planted a kiss on her forehead... and took a silent vow...
its payback time...

Then he hugged her and felt at peace. When he was sure she was at last sleeping peacefully he said ...
Sumo, I promise from now on I will never doubt you. I will always trust you, protect you, never fail you, support you, love you.
I know you did not trust me enough to tell me your problems but from now onwards I will never leave you alone. I will be like your shadow.. and you will be mine..
I love you Suman.. Sumo.. and you are going to be my wife...
Sleep peacefully darling and then atlast his heart was light and he smiled and said ...sumo, rest as much as you can because from tomorrow you will not know what hit you... You are going to get your love...and started humming and picked up the diaries and went home...
